CVE-2026-23365 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: usb: kalmia: validate USB endpoints The kalmia driver should validate that the device it is probing has the proper number and types of USB endpoints it is expecting before it binds to it. If a malicious device were to not have the same urbs the driver will crash later on when it blindly accesses these endpoints.
CVE-2026-23343 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-15 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xdp: produce a warning when calculated tailroom is negative Many ethernet drivers report xdp Rx queue frag size as being the same as DMA write size. However, the only user of this field, namely bpf_xdp_frags_increase_tail(), clearly expects a truesize. Such difference leads to unspecific memory corruption issues under certain circumstances, e.g. in ixgbevf maximum DMA write size is 3 KB, so when running xskxceiver's XDP_ADJUST_TAIL_GROW_MULTI_BUFF, 6K packet fully uses all DMA-writable space in 2 buffers. This would be fine, if only rxq->frag_size was properly set to 4K, but value of 3K results in a negative tailroom, because there is a non-zero page offset. We are supposed to return -EINVAL and be done with it in such case, but due to tailroom being stored as an unsigned int, it is reported to be somewhere near UINT_MAX, resulting in a tail being grown, even if the requested offset is too much (it is around 2K in the abovementioned test). This later leads to all kinds of unspecific calltraces. CVE-2026-23318 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-15 7.1 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ALSA: usb-audio: Use correct version for UAC3 header validation The entry of the validators table for UAC3 AC header descriptor is defined with the wrong protocol version UAC_VERSION_2, while it should have been UAC_VERSION_3. This results in the validator never matching for actual UAC3 devices (protocol == UAC_VERSION_3), causing their header descriptors to bypass validation entirely. A malicious USB device presenting a truncated UAC3 header could exploit this to cause out-of-bounds reads when the driver later accesses unvalidated descriptor fields. The bug was introduced in the same commit as the recently fixed UAC3 feature unit sub-type typo, and appears to be from the same copy-paste error when the UAC3 section was created from the UAC2 section.

CVE-2026-23310 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf/bonding: reject vlan+srcmac xmit_hash_policy change when XDP is loaded bond_option_mode_set() already rejects mode changes that would make a loaded XDP program incompatible via bond_xdp_check(). However, bond_option_xmit_hash_policy_set() has no such guard. For 802.3ad and balance-xor modes, bond_xdp_check() returns false when xmit_hash_policy is vlan+srcmac, because the 802.1q payload is usually absent due to hardware offload. This means a user can: 1. Attach a native XDP program to a bond in 802.3ad/balance-xor mode with a compatible xmit_hash_policy (e.g. layer2+3). 2. Change xmit_hash_policy to vlan+srcmac while XDP remains loaded. This leaves bond->xdp_prog set but bond_xdp_check() now returning false for the same device. When the bond is later destroyed, dev_xdp_uninstall() calls bond_xdp_set(dev, NULL, NULL) to remove the program, which hits the bond_xdp_check() guard and returns -EOPNOTSUPP, triggering: WARN_ON(dev_xdp_install(dev, mode, bpf_op, NULL, 0, NULL)) Fix this by rejecting xmit_hash_policy changes to vlan+srcmac when an XDP program is loaded on a bond in 802.3ad or balance-xor mode. commit 39a0876d595b ("net, bonding: Disallow vlan+srcmac with XDP") introduced bond_xdp_check() which returns false for 802.3ad/balance-xor modes when xmit_hash_policy is vlan+srcmac. The check was wired into bond_xdp_set() to reject XDP attachment with an incompatible policy, but the symmetric path -- preventing xmit_hash_policy from being changed to an incompatible value after XDP is already loaded -- was left unguarded in bond_option_xmit_hash_policy_set(). Note: commit 094ee6017ea0 ("bonding: check xdp prog when set bond mode") later added a similar guard to bond_option_mode_set(), but bond_option_xmit_hash_policy_set() remained unprotected.
CVE-2026-23243 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-15 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: RDMA/umad: Reject negative data_len in ib_umad_write ib_umad_write computes data_len from user-controlled count and the MAD header sizes. With a mismatched user MAD header size and RMPP header length, data_len can become negative and reach ib_create_send_mad(). This can make the padding calculation exceed the segment size and trigger an out-of-bounds memset in alloc_send_rmpp_list(). Add an explicit check to reject negative data_len before creating the send buffer. CVE-2026-11824 1 Sqlite 1 Sqlite 2026-10-15 7.8 High
SQLite before 3.53.2 contains a heap-based buffer overflow vulnerability in the FTS5 full-text search extension that allows attackers to cause a crash or execute arbitrary code by supplying a crafted database with malicious continuation page metadata specifying a szLeaf value smaller than 4. Attackers can trigger an integer underflow in fts5ChunkIterate() causing an inflated remaining byte count during FTS5 MATCH query processing, leading to a heap buffer overflow of attacker-controlled data in applications compiled with SQLITE_ENABLE_FTS5.
CVE-2026-11822 1 Sqlite 1 Sqlite 2026-10-15 7.8 High
SQLite before 3.53.2 contains memory corruption vulnerabilities in the FTS5 full-text search extension that allow attackers to cause process crashes, memory exhaustion, or arbitrary code execution by supplying a crafted database with malformed FTS5 page data. Attackers can trigger an out-of-bounds read in fts5LeafSeek() via an attacker-controlled loop bound and a heap buffer overflow write in fts5ChunkIterate() through a crafted continuation page causing an integer underflow, exploitable when an FTS5 MATCH query is executed against the malicious database.
CVE-2025-71316 1 Sqlite 1 Sqlite 2026-10-15 9.8 Critical
SQLite 'sqldiff.exe' does not securely handle the way the Microsoft Windows C runtime converts Unicode characters to ANSI codepages. An attacker could use the '-L' option to load an arbitrary DLL with a crafted command line argument string that results in command line file arguments being misinterpreted as command line options. Fixed on or around 2025-12-26.
CVE-2025-71161 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-15 7.5 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: dm-verity: disable recursive forward error correction There are two problems with the recursive correction: 1. It may cause denial-of-service. In fec_read_bufs, there is a loop that has 253 iterations. For each iteration, we may call verity_hash_for_block recursively. There is a limit of 4 nested recursions - that means that there may be at most 253^4 (4 billion) iterations. Red Hat QE team actually created an image that pushes dm-verity to this limit - and this image just makes the udev-worker process get stuck in the 'D' state. 2. It doesn't work. In fec_read_bufs we store data into the variable "fio->bufs", but fio bufs is shared between recursive invocations, if "verity_hash_for_block" invoked correction recursively, it would overwrite partially filled fio->bufs.
CVE-2025-71112 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-15 8.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: hns3: add VLAN id validation before using Currently, the VLAN id may be used without validation when receive a VLAN configuration mailbox from VF. The length of vlan_del_fail_bmap is BITS_TO_LONGS(VLAN_N_VID). It may cause out-of-bounds memory access once the VLAN id is bigger than or equal to VLAN_N_VID. Therefore, VLAN id needs to be checked to ensure it is within the range of VLAN_N_VID.
CVE-2025-71086 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-15 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: rose: fix invalid array index in rose_kill_by_device() rose_kill_by_device() collects sockets into a local array[] and then iterates over them to disconnect sockets bound to a device being brought down. The loop mistakenly indexes array[cnt] instead of array[i]. For cnt < ARRAY_SIZE(array), this reads an uninitialized entry; for cnt == ARRAY_SIZE(array), it is an out-of-bounds read. Either case can lead to an invalid socket pointer dereference and also leaks references taken via sock_hold(). Fix the index to use i.
CVE-2025-6965 3 Apple, Siemens, Sqlite 9 Ipados, Iphone Os, Macos and 6 more 2026-10-15 7.7 High
There exists a vulnerability in SQLite versions before 3.50.2 where the number of aggregate terms could exceed the number of columns available. This could lead to a memory corruption issue. We recommend upgrading to version 3.50.2 or above.
CVE-2025-68816 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-15 5.6 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/mlx5: fw_tracer, Validate format string parameters Add validation for format string parameters in the firmware tracer to prevent potential security vulnerabilities and crashes from malformed format strings received from firmware. The firmware tracer receives format strings from the device firmware and uses them to format trace messages. Without proper validation, bad firmware could provide format strings with invalid format specifiers (e.g., %s, %p, %n) that could lead to crashes, or other undefined behavior. Add mlx5_tracer_validate_params() to validate that all format specifiers in trace strings are limited to safe integer/hex formats (%x, %d, %i, %u, %llx, %lx, etc.). Reject strings containing other format types that could be used to access arbitrary memory or cause crashes. Invalid format strings are added to the trace output for visibility with "BAD_FORMAT: " prefix.
CVE-2025-61985 1 Openbsd 1 Openssh 2026-10-15 3.6 Low
ssh in OpenSSH before 10.1 allows the '\0' character in an ssh:// URI, potentially leading to code execution when a ProxyCommand is used.
CVE-2025-61984 1 Openbsd 1 Openssh 2026-10-15 3.6 Low
ssh in OpenSSH before 10.1 allows control characters in usernames that originate from certain possibly untrusted sources, potentially leading to code execution when a ProxyCommand is used. The untrusted sources are the command line and %-sequence expansion of a configuration file. (A configuration file that provides a complete literal username is not categorized as an untrusted source.)
