| CVE-2026-109268 | 1 Imagemagick | 1 Imagemagick | 2026-10-13 | 3.7 Low |
| ImageMagick before 6.9.13-57 and 7.x before 7.1.2-32 contains a use after free vulnerability in the PDF writer when writing CMYK images with JPEG2000 compression. Attackers can supply a crafted CMYK image that, when written to PDF with JPEG2000 compression, causes freed memory to be reused, potentially crashing the process. | ||||

| Use-after-free in the JavaScript Engine: JIT component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox ESR 153.4, Thunderbird 157, Thunderbird 153.4, and Firefox 157. | ||||
| CVE-2026-64033 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-13 | 9.8 Critical |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: RDMA/rtrs: Fix use-after-free in path file creation cleanup In the error path of rtrs_srv_create_path_files(), the sysfs root folders may already have been created and srv_path->kobj may already have been initialized. If a later step fails, the cleanup currently calls kobject_put(&srv_path->kobj) before rtrs_srv_destroy_once_sysfs_root_folders(srv_path). kobject_put() may drop the last reference to srv_path->kobj and invoke the release callback, rtrs_srv_release(), which frees srv_path. The following call to rtrs_srv_destroy_once_sysfs_root_folders(srv_path) then dereferences srv_path internally to access srv_path->srv, resulting in a use-after-free. This failure path is reached before rtrs_srv_create_path_files() returns success, so the successful-path lifetime handling is not involved. Fix this by destroying the sysfs root folders before calling kobject_put(&srv_path->kobj), so srv_path is still valid while the helper accesses it. This issue was found by a static analysis tool I am developing. | ||||
| CVE-2026-100831 | 1 Mozilla | 2 Firefox, Thunderbird | 2026-10-13 | 8.8 High |
| Use-after-free in the DOM: UI Events & Focus Handling component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox ESR 153.4, Thunderbird 157, Thunderbird 153.4, and Firefox 157. | ||||
| CVE-2026-64023 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-13 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: gpio: aggregator: fix a potential use-after-free On error we free aggr->lookups->dev_id before removing the entry from the lookup table. If a concurrent thread calls gpiod_find() before we remove the entry, it could iterate over the list and call gpiod_match_lookup_table() which unconditionally dereferences dev_id when calling strcmp(). Reverse the order of cleanup. | ||||
| CVE-2026-64016 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-13 | 9.8 Critical |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ksmbd: fix durable reconnect error path file lifetime After a durable reconnect succeeds, ksmbd_reopen_durable_fd() republishes the same ksmbd_file into the session volatile-id table. If smb2_open() then takes a later error path, cleanup first calls ksmbd_fd_put(work, fp) and then unconditionally calls ksmbd_put_durable_fd(dh_info.fp). In this case fp and dh_info.fp are the same object. The first put drops the reconnect lookup reference, but the final durable put can run __ksmbd_close_fd(NULL, fp). Because the final close is not session-aware, it can free the file object without removing the volatile-id entry that was just published into the session table. Use the session-aware put for the final reconnect drop when the reconnect had already succeeded and the error path is cleaning up the republished file. Earlier reconnect failures, before fp is assigned to dh_info.fp, keep using the durable-only put path. | ||||
| CVE-2026-64010 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-13 | 8.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nfc: llcp: Fix use-after-free race in nfc_llcp_recv_cc() A race condition exists in the NFC LLCP connection state machine where the connection acceptance packet (CC) can be processed concurrently with socket release. This can lead to a use-after-free of the socket object. When nfc_llcp_recv_cc() moves the socket from the connecting_sockets list to the sockets list, it does so without holding the socket lock. If llcp_sock_release() is executing concurrently, it might have already unlinked the socket and dropped its references, which can result in nfc_llcp_recv_cc() linking a freed socket into the live list. Fix this by holding lock_sock() during the state transition and list movement in nfc_llcp_recv_cc(). After acquiring the lock, check if the socket is still hashed to ensure it hasn't already been unlinked and marked for destruction by the release path. This aligns the locking pattern with recv_hdlc() and recv_disc(). | ||||
| CVE-2026-64011 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-13 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nfc: llcp: Fix use-after-free in llcp_sock_release() llcp_sock_release() unconditionally unlinks the socket from the local sockets list. However, if the socket is still in connecting state, it is on the connecting list. Fix this by checking the socket state and unlinking from the correct list. | ||||
| CVE-2025-7425 | 1 Redhat | 17 Cert Manager, Discovery, Enterprise Linux and 14 more | 2026-10-12 | 7.8 High |
| A flaw was found in libxslt where the attribute type, atype, flags are modified in a way that corrupts internal memory management. When XSLT functions, such as the key() process, result in tree fragments, this corruption prevents the proper cleanup of ID attributes. As a result, the system may access freed memory, causing crashes or enabling attackers to trigger heap corruption. | ||||
| CVE-2026-21120 | 1 Samsung Mobile | 1 Samsung Mobile Devices | 2026-10-12 | N/A |
| Use after free in WSM service prior to SMR Oct-2026 Release 1 allows local attackers to potentially execute arbitrary code with system privilege. | ||||
| CVE-2026-98385 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-12 | 7.0 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sched/cache: Decouple sched_cache_group from mm to fix UAF Currently the sched cache grouping is by mm and the scheduling statistics sched_cache_stat lives in the mm structure. This ties the life cycle of scheduling stats with mm. In account_mm_sched(), the scheduling stats are accessed by task->mm->sc_stat. However, a task may be switching mm on one CPU when another CPU is running account_mm_sched(), and possibly accessing the old mm that was freed. This problem was found when running tests with KASAN by Hyunwoo: https://lore.kernel.org/lkml/apPb-Dr4nPYuHQOK@v4bel/ Instead of serializing the mm access by introducing extra acquisition of rq lock in the mm free path, extract sched_cache_stat from mm_struct, rename it as sched_cache_group and manage its life cycle apart from mm_struct with its own ref counting. This allows us in the next patch access sched_cache_group directly from task, and add a refcount on sched_cache_group when a task links to it. This prevents the use after free issue when accessing stale and released old mm and its sched cache stat a task switches to a new mm while account_mm_sched() is done elsewhere. The other benefit of this restructure is in the future, the grouping of tasks to a LLC would have the flexibility to be associated with a user defined grouping, or cgroup, cookie group, numa_group or others instead of just with a single mm address space. Rename sched_cache_stat to sched_cache_group and turn it into a refcounted object allocated from mm_struct. The mm_struct now holds a pointer (sched_cache_grp) to this object instead of embedding it. | ||||
| CVE-2026-98276 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-11 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: lock the socket in sock_gettstamp() sk->sk_flags must only be changed while holding the socket lock, because sock_set_flag() and sock_reset_flag() use non atomic operations (__set_bit() and __clear_bit()). sock_gettstamp() is one of the last places where a bit of sk->sk_flags is changed from a syscall without owning the socket lock, through sock_enable_timestamp(sk, SOCK_TIMESTAMP). sk_set_memalloc() and sk_clear_memalloc() also change sk->sk_flags without the socket lock, but their callers (nbd, iscsi_tcp, nvme-tcp, sunrpc, wireguard) need a careful audit, this will be addressed in a separate patch. Jungwoo Lee and Wongi Lee reported an UDP socket use-after-free caused by this bug: a SIOCGSTAMPNS_NEW ioctl racing with bind() can cancel the SOCK_RCU_FREE bit that udp_lib_get_port() just set, because both threads perform a read-modify-write on the same word. CPU 0 (bind) CPU 1 (SIOCGSTAMPNS_NEW) -------------------------------- ---------------------------- read sk_flags = F read sk_flags = F compute F | BIT(SOCK_RCU_FREE) compute F | BIT(SOCK_TIMESTAMP) store F | BIT(SOCK_RCU_FREE) sk_add_node_rcu(sk, ...) store F | BIT(SOCK_TIMESTAMP) After the lost update, SOCK_RCU_FREE is clear while the socket is visible to lockless UDP receive lookups. sk_destruct() then frees the socket immediately instead of waiting for a RCU grace period, while the receive path still holds a reference-less pointer to it: BUG: KASAN: slab-use-after-free in ipv4_pktinfo_prepare+0x30/0x410 Read of size 8 at addr ffff888008806610 by task exploit/207 CPU: 0 UID: 1000 PID: 207 Comm: exploit Not tainted 6.12.95+ #1 ipv4_pktinfo_prepare+0x30/0x410 udp_queue_rcv_one_skb+0x51c/0x1180 udp_unicast_rcv_skb+0x109/0x350 ip_protocol_deliver_rcu+0x14b/0x310 ip_local_deliver_finish+0x29d/0x390 ip_local_deliver+0x24d/0x2a0 Only grab the socket lock when SOCK_TIMESTAMP has to be set, to keep the common case lockless. | ||||
| CVE-2025-11234 | 1 Redhat | 7 Enterprise Linux, Openshift, Rhel Aus and 4 more | 2026-10-09 | 7.5 High |
| A flaw was found in QEMU. If the QIOChannelWebsock object is freed while it is waiting to complete a handshake, a GSource is leaked. This can lead to the callback firing later on and triggering a use-after-free in the use of the channel. This can be abused by a malicious client with network access to the VNC WebSocket port to cause a denial of service during the WebSocket handshake prior to the VNC client authentication. | ||||
| CVE-2026-107886 | 1 Openprinting | 1 Cups | 2026-10-09 | 2.3 Low |
| OpenPrinting CUPS before 2.4.20 contains a double-free in printer-class management. When CUPS-Add-Modify-Class replaces an existing class member list, add_class() frees pclass->printers without clearing the pointer. If subsequent validation fails, the class retains the dangling pointer; CUPS-Delete-Class subsequently frees the same allocation in cupsdDeletePrinter(). A client authorized to modify and delete classes can cause scheduler-wide denial of service. The default policy requires @SYSTEM privileges. | ||||

| In apusys, there is a possible memory corruption due to use after free. This could lead to local escalation of privilege if a malicious actor has already obtained the System privilege. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. Patch ID: ALPS11076799; Issue ID: MSV-8143. | ||||
| CVE-2026-104113 | 1 Omnios | 1 Omnios | 2026-10-09 | N/A |
| A double free in the IP management daemon (ipmgmtd) of OmniOS and SmartOS allows a local user to crash the daemon. When authorizing a door request that modifies interface configuration, ipmgmt_handler() in usr/src/cmd/cmd-inet/lib/ipmgmtd/ipmgmt_door.c frees the caller's credential with ucred_free() immediately after reading the user ID, and frees it a second time on the error path if the authorization check fails. An unprivileged local user who does not hold the solaris.network.interface.config authorization can send such a request, for example IPMGMT_CMD_RESETIF, to the ipmgmtd door, causing ipmgmtd to abort; repeated requests place the svc:/network/ip-interface-management service into maintenance, preventing IP interface configuration. The early free was introduced in 2014 to support lx-branded zones (OmniOS commit 4c170900) and is not present in upstream illumos-gate. It affects OmniOS r151020 and later, and SmartOS, prior to the fix. | ||||

| In aidl, there is a possible memory corruption due to use after free. This could lead to local escalation of privilege if a malicious actor has already obtained the System privilege. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. Patch ID: ALPS11185225; Issue ID: MSV-9024. | ||||
| CVE-2026-98378 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-09 | 7.0 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Skip unsettled links in link iterator bpf_link_prime() inserts a link into link_idr before anon_inode_getfile() succeeds and before bpf_link_settle() publishes the ID in link->id. bpf_link_by_id() treats such an ID-zero link as unsettled, but the link iterator takes a reference without this check. If anon_inode_getfile() then fails, the creator removes the ID and frees its still-private link directly. The iterator is left with a dangling reference and its next bpf_link_put() accesses freed memory. Treat ID-zero entries as transient in bpf_link_get_curr_or_next(), just as bpf_link_by_id() does.
