| CVE-2022-48303 | 3 Fedoraproject, Gnu, Redhat | 4 Fedora, Tar, Enterprise Linux and 1 more | 2026-10-14 | 5.5 Medium |
| GNU Tar through 1.34 has a one-byte out-of-bounds read that results in use of uninitialized memory for a conditional jump. Exploitation to change the flow of control has not been demonstrated. The issue occurs in from_header in list.c via a V7 archive in which mtime has approximately 11 whitespace characters. | ||||
| CVE-2022-47929 | 3 Debian, Linux, Redhat | 5 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux and 2 more | 2026-10-14 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel before 6.1.6, a NULL pointer dereference bug in the traffic control subsystem allows an unprivileged user to trigger a denial of service (system crash) via a crafted traffic control configuration that is set up with "tc qdisc" and "tc class" commands. This affects qdisc_graft in net/sched/sch_api.c. | ||||
| CVE-2022-45873 | 3 Fedoraproject, Redhat, Systemd Project | 3 Fedora, Enterprise Linux, Systemd | 2026-10-14 | 5.5 Medium |
| systemd 250 and 251 allows local users to achieve a systemd-coredump deadlock by triggering a crash that has a long backtrace. This occurs in parse_elf_object in shared/elf-util.c. The exploitation methodology is to crash a binary calling the same function recursively, and put it in a deeply nested directory to make its backtrace large enough to cause the deadlock. This must be done 16 times when MaxConnections=16 is set for the systemd/units/systemd-coredump.socket file. | ||||
| CVE-2022-45061 | 4 Fedoraproject, Netapp, Python and 1 more | 13 Fedora, Active Iq Unified Manager, Bootstrap Os and 10 more | 2026-10-14 | 7.5 High |
| An issue was discovered in Python before 3.11.1. An unnecessary quadratic algorithm exists in one path when processing some inputs to the IDNA (RFC 3490) decoder, such that a crafted, unreasonably long name being presented to the decoder could lead to a CPU denial of service. Hostnames are often supplied by remote servers that could be controlled by a malicious actor; in such a scenario, they could trigger excessive CPU consumption on the client attempting to make use of an attacker-supplied supposed hostname. For example, the attack payload could be placed in the Location header of an HTTP response with status code 302. A fix is planned in 3.11.1, 3.10.9, 3.9.16, 3.8.16, and 3.7.16. | ||||
| CVE-2022-43750 | 3 Debian, Linux, Redhat | 6 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux and 3 more | 2026-10-14 | 6.7 Medium |
| drivers/usb/mon/mon_bin.c in usbmon in the Linux kernel before 5.19.15 and 6.x before 6.0.1 allows a user-space client to corrupt the monitor's internal memory. | ||||
| CVE-2022-43680 | 5 Debian, Fedoraproject, Libexpat Project and 2 more | 24 Debian Linux, Fedora, Libexpat and 21 more | 2026-10-14 | 7.5 High |
| In libexpat through 2.4.9, there is a use-after free caused by overeager destruction of a shared DTD in XML_ExternalEntityParserCreate in out-of-memory situations. | ||||
| CVE-2022-43552 | 4 Apple, Haxx, Redhat and 1 more | 6 Macos, Curl, Enterprise Linux and 3 more | 2026-10-14 | 5.9 Medium |
| A use after free vulnerability exists in curl <7.87.0. Curl can be asked to *tunnel* virtually all protocols it supports through an HTTP proxy. HTTP proxies can (and often do) deny such tunnel operations. When getting denied to tunnel the specific protocols SMB or TELNET, curl would use a heap-allocated struct after it had been freed, in its transfer shutdown code path. | ||||
| CVE-2022-43551 | 5 Fedoraproject, Haxx, Netapp and 2 more | 8 Fedora, Curl, Active Iq Unified Manager and 5 more | 2026-10-14 | 7.5 High |
| A vulnerability exists in curl <7.87.0 HSTS check that could be bypassed to trick it to keep using HTTP. Using its HSTS support, curl can be instructed to use HTTPS instead of using an insecure clear-text HTTP step even when HTTP is provided in the URL. However, the HSTS mechanism could be bypassed if the host name in the given URL first uses IDN characters that get replaced to ASCII counterparts as part of the IDN conversion. Like using the character UTF-8 U+3002 (IDEOGRAPHIC FULL STOP) instead of the common ASCII full stop (U+002E) `.`. Then in a subsequent request, it does not detect the HSTS state and makes a clear text transfer. Because it would store the info IDN encoded but look for it IDN decoded. | ||||
| CVE-2022-42916 | 5 Apple, Fedoraproject, Haxx and 2 more | 5 Macos, Fedora, Curl and 2 more | 2026-10-14 | 7.5 High |
| In curl before 7.86.0, the HSTS check could be bypassed to trick it into staying with HTTP. Using its HSTS support, curl can be instructed to use HTTPS directly (instead of using an insecure cleartext HTTP step) even when HTTP is provided in the URL. This mechanism could be bypassed if the host name in the given URL uses IDN characters that get replaced with ASCII counterparts as part of the IDN conversion, e.g., using the character UTF-8 U+3002 (IDEOGRAPHIC FULL STOP) instead of the common ASCII full stop of U+002E (.). The earliest affected version is 7.77.0 2021-05-26. | ||||
| CVE-2022-42915 | 6 Apple, Fedoraproject, Haxx and 3 more | 14 Macos, Fedora, Curl and 11 more | 2026-10-14 | 8.1 High |
| curl before 7.86.0 has a double free. If curl is told to use an HTTP proxy for a transfer with a non-HTTP(S) URL, it sets up the connection to the remote server by issuing a CONNECT request to the proxy, and then tunnels the rest of the protocol through. An HTTP proxy might refuse this request (HTTP proxies often only allow outgoing connections to specific port numbers, like 443 for HTTPS) and instead return a non-200 status code to the client. Due to flaws in the error/cleanup handling, this could trigger a double free in curl if one of the following schemes were used in the URL for the transfer: dict, gopher, gophers, ldap, ldaps, rtmp, rtmps, or telnet. The earliest affected version is 7.77.0. | ||||
| CVE-2022-42898 | 4 Heimdal Project, Mit, Redhat and 1 more | 10 Heimdal, Kerberos 5, Enterprise Linux and 7 more | 2026-10-14 | 8.8 High |
| PAC parsing in MIT Kerberos 5 (aka krb5) before 1.19.4 and 1.20.x before 1.20.1 has integer overflows that may lead to remote code execution (in KDC, kadmind, or a GSS or Kerberos application server) on 32-bit platforms (which have a resultant heap-based buffer overflow), and cause a denial of service on other platforms. This occurs in krb5_pac_parse in lib/krb5/krb/pac.c. Heimdal before 7.7.1 has "a similar bug." | ||||
| CVE-2022-42896 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 8 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus and 5 more | 2026-10-14 | 8 High |
| There are use-after-free vulnerabilities in the Linux kernel's net/bluetooth/l2cap_core.c's l2cap_connect and l2cap_le_connect_req functions which may allow code execution and leaking kernel memory (respectively) remotely via Bluetooth. A remote attacker could execute code leaking kernel memory via Bluetooth if within proximity of the victim. We recommend upgrading past commit https://www.google.com/url https://github.com/torvalds/linux/commit/711f8c3fb3db61897080468586b970c87c61d9e4 https://www.google.com/url | ||||
| CVE-2022-42895 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 4 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Eus and 1 more | 2026-10-14 | 5.1 Medium |
| There is an infoleak vulnerability in the Linux kernel's net/bluetooth/l2cap_core.c's l2cap_parse_conf_req function which can be used to leak kernel pointers remotely. | CVE-2022-42722 | 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Linux and 1 more | 6 Debian Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel and 3 more | 2026-10-14 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel 5.8 through 5.19.x before 5.19.16, local attackers able to inject WLAN frames into the mac80211 stack could cause a NULL pointer dereference denial-of-service attack against the beacon protection of P2P devices. | ||||
| CVE-2022-42721 | 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Linux and 1 more | 6 Debian Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel and 3 more | 2026-10-14 | 5.5 Medium |
| A list management bug in BSS handling in the mac80211 stack in the Linux kernel 5.1 through 5.19.x before 5.19.16 could be used by local attackers (able to inject WLAN frames) to corrupt a linked list and, in turn, potentially execute code. | ||||
| CVE-2022-42720 | 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Linux and 1 more | 6 Debian Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel and 3 more | 2026-10-14 | 7.8 High |
| Various refcounting bugs in the multi-BSS handling in the mac80211 stack in the Linux kernel 5.1 through 5.19.x before 5.19.16 could be used by local attackers (able to inject WLAN frames) to trigger use-after-free conditions to potentially execute code. | ||||
| CVE-2022-42703 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 5 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Eus and 2 more | 2026-10-14 | 5.5 Medium |
| mm/rmap.c in the Linux kernel before 5.19.7 has a use-after-free related to leaf anon_vma double reuse. | ||||
| CVE-2022-42432 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux | 2026-10-14 | 4.4 Medium |
| This vulnerability allows local attackers to disclose sensitive information on affected installations of the Linux Kernel 6.0-rc2. An attacker must first obtain the ability to execute high-privileged code on the target system in order to exploit this vulnerability. The specific flaw exists within the nft_osf_eval function. The issue results from the lack of proper initialization of memory prior to accessing it. An attacker can leverage this in conjunction with other vulnerabilities to execute arbitrary code in the context of the kernel. Was ZDI-CAN-18540. | ||||
| CVE-2026-55655 | 3 Openbsd, Openssh, Redhat | 12 Openssh, Openssh, Enterprise Linux and 9 more | 2026-10-14 | 5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in OpenSSH. A local unprivileged attacker on a Linux client host can hijack client-side X11 forwarding connections. This is possible by pre-binding the preferred abstract X socket name when X11 forwarding is enabled and a local UNIX-domain X socket is used. A successful attack can compromise the confidentiality of forwarded X11 traffic, including sensitive window contents and input, and may allow some manipulation of the forwarded session. | ||||
| CVE-2026-55653 | 3 Openbsd, Openssh, Redhat | 12 Openssh, Openssh, Enterprise Linux and 9 more | 2026-10-14 | 4.3 Medium |
| A flaw was found in OpenSSH. A malicious SSH server can exploit a double free vulnerability in the Diffie-Hellman Group Exchange (DH-GEX) client path. This occurs during FIPS (Federal Information Processing Standards) mode known-group validation when the client processes attacker-controlled DH-GEX group parameters. Successful exploitation leads to client-side process termination, resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS). | ||||
