CVSS v3.1 |
| NVIDIA AIStore for Linux contains a path traversal vulnerability in the dSort archive extraction component where a remote attacker may cause an improper limitation of a pathname to a restricted directory by supplying crafted archive member names to a dSort job. A successful exploit may lead to arbitrary file creation or overwrite, code execution, information disclosure, data tampering, and denial of service. |
| NVIDIA AIStore for Linux contains a vulnerability in the Promote API where an unauthenticated remote attacker may read files accessible to the target process by supplying a crafted absolute source path. A successful exploit may lead to information disclosure. |
| NVIDIA AIStore for Linux contains a path traversal vulnerability in the target-side object rename handler, where an unauthenticated remote attacker could cause an improper limitation of a pathname to a restricted directory by submitting a crafted rename destination directly to an AIStore target, resulting in the arbitrary creation or overwrite of a file. A successful exploit of this vulnerability might lead to code execution, escalation of privileges, information disclosure, data tampering, and denial of service. |
| IBM TRIRIGA Application Platform 5.0.0 through 5.0.8 could allow a remote authenticated attacker to execute arbitrary code due to improper validation of file paths during archive extraction. |
| ** REJECT ** DO NOT USE THIS CANDIDATE NUMBER. ConsultIDs: none. Reason: This candidate was withdrawn by its CNA. Further investigation showed that it was not a security issue. Notes: The exact code first shipped in 1.6.0, does not exist in the cited 1.0.0, and in every version where it exists the claimed missing protection is already implemented. |
| Quasar Framework is a framework for building high-performance Vue.js user interfaces. From 3.1.0 until 3.3.0, @quasar/app-vite SSG page definitions returned by getSsgPages() could supply dir and filename values that were joined to build.distDir without verifying the final destination. Parent traversal or an existing symlink below the distribution directory could create new HTML files or directories outside the output tree with the build user's permissions. Application configuration and SSG page definitions are trusted by default, so exploitation requires a build process that derives them from external or otherwise less-trusted content; existing files remain protected by the renderer's no-overwrite behavior. This issue is fixed in version 3.3.0. |
| IBM Planning Analytics 2.0, and 2.1 could allow a remote attacker to traverse directories on the system. An attacker could send a specially crafted URL request containing "dot dot" sequences (/../) to write arbitrary files on the system. |
| Wazuh from 4.1.1 before 4.14.8 contains a path traversal vulnerability in the delete_rule_file and delete_decoder_file helpers that allows malicious cluster workers to delete arbitrary files via an unvalidated filename parameter. Attackers holding the cluster key can invoke these helpers through DistributedAPI with traversal sequences to delete ossec.conf, client.keys, or rules as the wazuh user. |
| Dayforce ESS Excelity is vulnerable to Path TraversalĀ in file download functionality. An unauthenticated attacker can sent GET request with file path parameter set to any path including anĀ absolute
local file path.
This issue was fixed in version V4. |
| IBM Planning Analytics 2.0, and 2.1 could allow a remote attacker to read arbitrary host files and overwrite certain application files due to improper validation of file paths. |
| A flaw has been found in DeepPavlov up to 1.7.0. This impacts the function untar of the component Model Download Handler. This manipulation causes path traversal. The attack is possible to be carried out remotely. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet. |
| IBM Maximo Application Suite 8.10, 8.11, 9.0, 9.1, and 9.2 could allow a remote attacker to traverse directories on the system. An attacker could send a specially crafted URL request containing "dot dot" sequences (/../) to view arbitrary files on the system. |
| A vulnerability was detected in YouTransfer up to 0.0.7/1.0.6/1.1.0. Affected is an unknown function of the file /settings/template of the component Template Rendering. The manipulation results in path traversal. The attack may be launched remotely. The exploit is now public and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| Wazuh from 4.1.1 before 4.14.8 contains a path traversal vulnerability in the get_list_file helper that allows malicious cluster workers to read arbitrary files via unvalidated filename values. Attackers holding the cluster key can send DistributedAPI requests with traversal filenames to read client.keys, ossec.conf with the cluster key, and other wazuh-readable files. |
| Wazuh from 4.1.1 before 4.14.8 contains a path traversal vulnerability in upload_list_file, upload_rule_file, and upload_decoder_file that allows malicious cluster workers to write files at arbitrary paths. Attackers holding the cluster key can send DistributedAPI requests with ../ sequences in filename, bypassing REST controller validation, to write files as the wazuh user. |
| Wazuh from 4.1.1 before 4.14.8 contains a path traversal vulnerability in the get_lists() and delete_list_file() CDB list handlers that allows compromised cluster workers to read or delete master files. Attackers can send traversal or absolute-path filenames through the internal cluster RPC path, bypassing REST validation and RBAC to delete files like rbac.db. |
| NLTK through 3.10.3 contains a path traversal vulnerability in WekaClassifier that allows attackers to bypass nltk.pathsec containment by supplying unvalidated model paths. Attackers controlling the model_filename or model argument can make the weka JVM write files via -d or probe files via -l outside allowed data roots. |
| A path traversal weakness in an optional, non-default administrative feature allowed an authenticated administrator to move files to unintended locations outside the feature's designated directory. This could potentially be leveraged to execute arbitrary code on the underlying system. |
| A vulnerability has been identified in .NET Client Library for SIMATIC S7 Webserver API (All versions < V3.3.61). Affected applications do not properly validate filenames received from remote servers during ticket downloads.
This could allow an attacker who can manipulate the ticket response to write arbitrary files outside the intended download directory and, when overwriting is enabled, replace existing files accessible to the application. |
| A security vulnerability has been detected in jbardin scp.py up to 0.16.1. The impacted element is the function _recv_file/_recv_pushd of the component SCP Receive Handler. The manipulation leads to path traversal. Remote exploitation of the attack is possible. Upgrading to version 0.16.2 is sufficient to resolve this issue. The identifier of the patch is 42fc3aaa71411daed60544e3b40179c1038bed5d. Upgrading the affected component is advised. The vendor was contacted early, responded in a very professional manner and quickly released a fixed version of the affected product. |
