| CVE-2026-107832 | 1 Fastify | 1 Fastify | 2026-10-13 | 3.7 Low |
| fastify is a fast and low overhead web framework for Node.js. In versions 5.12.2 through 5.12.5, the routine that lowercases header names declared in a route schema does not lowercase the enum or const header names nested inside a propertyNames subschema. As a result, a header allow-list or deny-list written with canonical (non-lowercase) casing never matches the incoming lowercased header, so a restricted header passes validation and reaches the route handler. An attacker can therefore bypass a case-sensitive header validation rule and smuggle a forbidden header past the schema, affecting the integrity of request handling. The issue is fixed in fastify 5.12.6, and users should upgrade to 5.12.6 or later. There is no workaround other than upgrading, though applications can declare header names in lowercase to avoid the mismatch. | ||||
| CVE-2026-106503 | 2 Backstage, Linuxfoundation | 4 Backstage, Plugin-scaffolder-backend, Backstage and 1 more | 2026-10-13 | 8.1 High |
| Backstage is an open framework for building developer portals. Prior to 3.3.1, 3.4.1, 4.0.3 and 4.1.0, the @backstage/plugin-scaffolder-backend package is affected by scaffolder action input authorization bypass. An authenticated user with access to affected Scaffolder templates could bypass configured action restrictions. Depending on integration credentials, this could grant unauthorized access to repositories and related source-control resources. This issue is fixed in versions 3.3.1, 3.4.1, 4.0.3 and 4.1.0. | ||||
| CVE-2026-74041 | 1 Wazuh | 1 Wazuh | 2026-10-13 | 9.1 Critical |
| Wazuh 4.14.3 before 4.14.8 contains a case-sensitivity mismatch between the ossec.conf validator and wazuh-logcollector that bypasses remote-command validation. Authenticated users with manager:update_config can inject an uppercase LOG_FORMAT command localfile that the collector runs as root on reload. | ||||
| CVE-2026-108721 | 1 Ifuryst | 1 Open-computer-use | 2026-10-13 | 5.3 Medium |
| Open Computer Use through 1.0.0 on macOS contains an improper case sensitivity handling vulnerability that allows local MCP callers to bypass the password-manager denylist using case-variant bundle identifiers. Attackers, including prompt-injected model turns, can pass identifiers like com.1Password.1Password to get_app_state and action tools to read accessibility trees, capture screenshots, and drive unlocked password manager interfaces. | ||||
| CVE-2026-106497 | 1 Backstage | 2 Backstage, Plugin-catalog-backend | 2026-10-09 | 4.3 Medium |
| Backstage is an open framework for building developer portals. Prior to 3.9.1, the @backstage/plugin-catalog-backend package is affected by inconsistent catalog property permission evaluation. In deployments that use affected value-based catalog permission conditions as a confidentiality boundary, an authenticated user could receive catalog entity data that policy authors intended to restrict. This issue is fixed in version 3.9.1. | ||||
| CVE-2022-22968 | 4 Netapp, Oracle, Redhat and 1 more | 9 Active Iq Unified Manager, Cloud Secure Agent, Metrocluster Tiebreaker and 6 more | 2026-10-08 | 5.3 Medium |
| In Spring Framework versions 5.3.0 - 5.3.18, 5.2.0 - 5.2.20, and older unsupported versions, the patterns for disallowedFields on a DataBinder are case sensitive which means a field is not effectively protected unless it is listed with both upper and lower case for the first character of the field, including upper and lower case for the first character of all nested fields within the property path. | ||||
| CVE-2026-105570 | 1 Docker | 2 Docker Sandboxes, Sandboxes | 2026-10-08 | N/A |
| Docker Sandboxes compared OAuth token-endpoint hostnames case-sensitively when deciding whether to mask managed credential responses, while request routing treated DNS hostnames case-insensitively. Untrusted code inside a sandbox could use a case-variant hostname to reach the genuine provider endpoint while bypassing response masking. If a user completed the OAuth flow, the provider's access and refresh tokens could be returned unmasked to the sandbox, exposing host-managed credentials. | ||||
| CVE-2026-102131 | 2 Accellion, Kiteworks | 2 Kiteworks, Kiteworks Email Protection Gateway | 2026-10-08 | 7.2 High |
| Kiteworks Email Protection Gateway rejected certain configuration settings, but its validation did not recognize every form in which they could be supplied. An authenticated administrator could potentially use an unrecognized form to have a file of their choosing written to the gateway and executed, resulting in code execution as the gateway service account. | ||||
| CVE-2026-89322 | 1 Hashicorp | 2 Vault, Vault Enterprise | 2026-10-08 | 7.2 High |
| Vault and Vault Enterprise did not consistently evaluate ACL policies against the canonical form of resource and policy names. This may allow an authenticated user with delegated permissions to bypass an explicit deny restriction and access a protected resource or assign a denied policy, potentially leading to privilege escalation. This vulnerability (CVE-2026-89322) is fixed in Vault Community Edition 2.1.2, and Vault Enterprise 2.1.2, 1.21.12, 1.20.17, and 1.19.23. | ||||
| CVE-2026-100580 | 1 Openclaw | 1 Openclaw | 2026-10-05 | 8.8 High |
| OpenClaw (npm package 'openclaw') before 2026.7.1 improperly handles case sensitivity in the model-facing cron tool: a mixed-case payload kind can pass the agent-facing shell-execution guard and later normalize into a command job. An actor able to steer a tool-enabled agent can therefore create a persistent cron job that executes attacker-selected commands with the privileges of the OpenClaw process user, resulting in access to host files and credentials and impact to scheduled service availability. The issue is limited to cron jobs created or edited through the model-facing cron tool; direct CLI and authorized Gateway scheduling surfaces are trusted operator controls. Fixed in 2026.7.1. | ||||
| CVE-2026-3833 | 2 Gnu, Redhat | 17 Gnutls, Cert Manager, Discovery and 14 more | 2026-10-02 | 6.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in gnutls. This vulnerability occurs because gnutls performs case-sensitive comparisons of `nameConstraints` labels, specifically for `dNSName` (DNS) or `rfc822Name` (email) constraints within `excludedSubtrees` or `permittedSubtrees`. A remote attacker can exploit this by crafting a leaf certificate with casing differences in the Subject Alternative Name (SAN), leading to a policy bypass where a certificate that should be rejected is instead accepted. This could result in unauthorized access or information disclosure. | ||||
| CVE-2020-12812 | 1 Fortinet | 1 Fortios | 2026-10-01 | 7.5 High |
| An improper authentication vulnerability in SSL VPN in FortiOS 6.4.0, 6.2.0 to 6.2.3, 6.0.9 and below may result in a user being able to log in successfully without being prompted for the second factor of authentication (FortiToken) if they changed the case of their username. | ||||
| CVE-2026-89012 | 1 Dolibarr | 2 Dolibarr, Dolibarr Erp\/crm | 2026-10-01 | 6.5 Medium |
| Dolibarr 24.0.0 before 24.0.1 contains a case-sensitive denylist bypass vulnerability in the sqlfilters API query parameter that allows authenticated attackers to recover protected database fields by supplying uppercase variants of denylist-protected field names. Attackers can exploit the case-insensitive database column resolution against the case-sensitive denylist check in the core library to use prefix-matching predicates as a boolean oracle and extract full password hashes for any user account, including administrators. | ||||
| CVE-2026-100669 | 1 Getgrav | 1 Grav | 2026-09-30 | 7.5 High |
| Grav before 2.0.25 ships web server configuration samples whose access-control deny rules are matched case-sensitively. In webserver-configs/web.config (IIS), every deny rule (user_sensitive_folders, user_accounts, user_data, user_error_redirect, user_pages, system, vendor, ignore_folders) sets ignoreCase="false" on its URL Rewrite <match> element, overriding the IIS default of ignoreCase="true"; because these are rewrite matches rather than <requestFiltering> elements, there is no case-insensitive fallback. On IIS running over case-insensitive NTFS, an unauthenticated remote attacker can vary the case of a folder name or file extension (for example GET /user/CONFIG/system.YAML) so that no deny rule matches and the IIS static file handler resolves and returns the underlying file, disclosing sensitive data such as configuration secrets or account password hashes. Whether a bypassed file is actually returned depends on MIME registration: .json is served by default, while .yaml/.yml return HTTP 404.3 on a stock IIS unless a YAML MIME mapping has been added. The same class of gap exists in the bundled webserver-configs/lighttpd.conf, whose user/(config|env), directory, script-extension, root-file and dotfile rules lack the (?i) modifier, though it is lower risk because lighttpd typically runs on case-sensitive filesystems. Deployments served by Apache (.htaccess), nginx, Caddy, or the PHP built-in server are not affected. The issue is fixed in 2.0.25; because the .htaccess installer heal does not touch web.config or lighttpd.conf, operators must re-copy the corrected sample files after upgrading. | ||||
| CVE-2026-100693 | 2 Gohugo, Redhat | 2 Hugo, Hummingbird | 2026-09-30 | 8.4 High |
| Hugo versions from v0.162.0 before v0.166.0 contain a case-sensitive validation flaw in the security.http.urls IP-literal deny rule that allows attackers to bypass restrictions. Attackers can use mixed-case URL schemes in resources.GetRemote calls to fetch from restricted IP addresses like localhost. | ||||
| CVE-2026-100541 | 1 Openclaw | 1 Matrix | 2026-09-29 | 7.5 High |
| OpenClaw's Matrix integration (npm package @openclaw/matrix) versions >= 2026.2.2 and < 2026.8.1 lowercase complete Matrix user IDs — including historical localparts and the case-sensitive server-name portion — when deriving the OpenClaw authorization identity. As a result, distinct authenticated Matrix accounts can normalize to the same authorization identity. A Matrix participant controlling a colliding account identifier (a protocol-valid identifier that differs from the configured one only by characters OpenClaw case/Unicode folds; display-name matching is not required) can inherit allowlist, owner-command, exec-approval, or plugin-approval authority configured for another account. The issue is fixed in 2026.8.1. | ||||
| CVE-2026-48595 | 1 Elixir-tesla | 1 Tesla | 2026-09-24 | 5.9 Medium |
| Improper Handling of Case Sensitivity vulnerability in elixir-tesla tesla allows credential leakage to a third-party origin on cross-origin redirects. Tesla.Middleware.FollowRedirects strips security-sensitive headers on cross-origin redirects using a case-sensitive string comparison against a lowercase filter list (@filter_headers ["authorization", "host"]). HTTP header names are case-insensitive per RFC 7230, but Tesla preserves header keys verbatim as supplied by the caller without normalizing case. A header set as {"Authorization", "Bearer …"} (the RFC 7235 canonical casing used by virtually all HTTP libraries and documentation) does not match the lowercase filter entry and is forwarded to the redirect destination. An attacker who can control or influence a Location: response seen by the client (via their own endpoint, a redirect-open upstream, or a compromised origin) receives the bearer token or other Authorization material on the cross-origin request. This issue affects tesla: from 1.4.0 before 1.18.3. | ||||
| CVE-2026-92700 | 1 Caddyserver | 1 Caddy | 2026-09-23 | N/A |
| Caddy is an extensible server platform that uses TLS by default. In version 2.11.3 and earlier, in modules/caddyhttp/fileserver/staticfiles.go, fileHidden() uses case-sensitive filepath.Match checks, so case variants can bypass hide rules on case-insensitive filesystems or when mixed-case paths coexist and expose files intended to be hidden. | ||||
| CVE-2026-77560 | 1 Tinyauth | 1 Tinyauth | 2026-09-21 | 8.1 High |
| Tinyauth is an authentication and authorization server. Prior to 5.1.2, Tinyauth compares forwarded hostnames case-sensitively while reverse proxies route equivalent hostnames case-insensitively, allowing an authenticated low-privilege user to bypass per-app access controls with a differently cased hostname. The lookup in internal/service/access_controls_service.go through lookupStaticACLs and GetAccessControls, and the Docker-label fallback in internal/service/docker_service.go through GetLabels, can miss the configured app and return an empty access-control object. internal/controller/proxy_controller.go proxyHandler then treats the empty user, group, OAuth, LDAP, and IP restrictions as permissive and returns an authenticated result for an app that should exclude the user. Unauthenticated users remain subject to login, and global login-time allowlists are not bypassed. This issue is fixed in version 5.1.2. | ||||
| CVE-2026-87876 | 2 Openprinting, Redhat | 6 Cups, Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images and 3 more | 2026-09-21 | 3 Low |
| Two case-insensitive comparisons on request-derived usernames outside the main authorization path in CUPS's scheduler (printer ACL validation and private-attribute filtering) could allow bypass of username-based access controls in certain configurations. | ||||
