CVSS v3.1 |
| A repository's external issue tracker regular expression containing alternating capture groups could produce invalid slice indexes when Gitea rendered issue references, causing a runtime panic that terminated the Gitea process. A user who can edit a repository's external issue tracker settings could make any later rendering of matching content, such as viewing a README, crash the instance for all users. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
wifi: mac80211: bounds-check link_id in ieee80211_ml_epcs
IEEE80211_MLE_STA_EPCS_CONTROL_LINK_ID is 0x000f, so link_id extracted
from a PRIO_ACCESS ML element PER_STA_PROFILE subelement can be 0..15.
sdata->link[] has IEEE80211_MLD_MAX_NUM_LINKS (15) entries (indices 0..14),
making index 15 out-of-bounds.
A connected WiFi 7 AP can trigger this by sending an EPCS Enable Response
action frame with a PER_STA_PROFILE subelement where link_id = 15. The
unsolicited-notification path (dialog_token = 0) is reachable any time
EPCS is already enabled, without any prior client request.
sdata->link[15] reads into the first word of sdata->activate_links_work
(a wiphy_work whose embedded list_head is non-NULL after INIT_LIST_HEAD),
so the NULL check on the result does not catch the invalid access. The
garbage pointer is then passed to ieee80211_sta_wmm_params(), which
dereferences link->sdata and crashes the kernel.
The same class of bug was fixed for ieee80211_ml_reconfiguration() by
commit 162d331d833d ("wifi: mac80211: bounds-check link_id in
ieee80211_ml_reconfiguration"). |
| A flaw was found in BlueZ. An out-of-bounds read vulnerability exists in the btmon Bluetooth monitor tool when processing crafted HCI Return Link Keys events. A maliciously crafted btsnoop capture file can specify a large number of link keys that exceeds the actual packet data, causing btmon to read beyond the allocated buffer and crash. |
| A flaw was found in tftp-hpa. When the `in.tftpd` remap engine processes an inverse remap rule that also aborts with a non-empty custom error message, it can pass invalid match offsets to the `genmatchstring()` function. This leads to out-of-bounds read/write operations. A remote, unauthenticated attacker can exploit this vulnerability by sending a specially crafted request, causing the daemon to crash and resulting in a denial of service. |
| ESF-IDF is the Espressif Internet of Things (IOT) Development Framework. Prior to 5.2.8, 5.3.6, 5.5.5, 6.0.3, and 6.1-rc1, ESP-IDF BlueDroid L2CAP configuration-option processing in l2c_main.c and l2c_utils.c does not consistently validate option lengths against the remaining received packet bytes. A remote unauthenticated BR/EDR peer within radio range can send a malformed L2CAP configuration request that causes an out-of-bounds read, and under some runtime conditions limited adjacent Bluetooth stack memory can be included in an outbound L2CAP Configuration Response. The issue affects ESP32-class products using the BlueDroid host stack with Classic Bluetooth enabled. This issue is fixed in 5.2.8, 5.3.6, 5.5.5, 6.0.3, and 6.1-rc1. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
Input: usbtouchscreen - clamp NEXIO data_len/x_len to URB buffer size
nexio_read_data() pulls data_len and x_len from a packed __be16 header
in the device's interrupt packet and then walks packet->data[0..x_len)
and packet->data[x_len..data_len) comparing each byte against a
threshold.
Both fields are 16-bit on the wire (max 65535). The existing
adjustments shave at most 0x100 / 0x80 off, so the loop bound can still
reach roughly 0xfeff. The URB transfer buffer for NEXIO is rept_size
(1024) bytes from usb_alloc_coherent(), with the first 7 occupied by the
packed header — so packet->data[] has 1017 valid bytes. read_data()
callbacks are not given urb->actual_length, and nothing else bounds the
walk.
A device that lies about its length can get a ~64 KiB out-of-bounds read
past the coherent DMA allocation. The first index whose byte exceeds
NEXIO_THRESHOLD lands in begin_x / begin_y and from there into the
reported touch coordinates, so adjacent kernel memory contents leak to
userspace as ABS_X / ABS_Y events. Far enough out, the read can also
hit an unmapped page and fault.
Fix this all by clamping data_len to the buffer's data[] capacity and
x_len to data_len. |
| Excelize is a Go language library for reading and writing Microsoft Excel spreadsheets. From 2.7.1 to 2.11.0, mergeCellsParser leaves the cached rectangle empty for an empty mergeCell ref and then passes that empty slice to cellInRange without a length check. GetCellValue reaches mergeCellsParser, which passes an empty rectangle derived from the mergeCell ref attribute into cellInRange. When a crafted worksheet contains an empty mergeCell ref and a non-streaming cell API reads the worksheet, cellInRange indexes four positions in an empty slice, allowing an attacker to panic on the first affected cell operation. No fixed version is available as of this review. |
| IBM i 7.3, 7.4, 7.5, and 7.6 could allow a remote authenticated attacker to cause a denial of service and obtain information due to an out-of-bounds read in the File Server. |
| FreeRDP from 3.0.0 before 3.32.0 contains a heap out-of-bounds read vulnerability that allows a malicious RD Gateway to crash clients by sending mismatched message lengths. Attackers controlling the gateway can set MsgBytes far larger than the NDR string ActualCount in consent or service messages, causing UTF-8 conversion to read past the stream allocation and disrupt client availability. |
| A vulnerability was detected in Tiiny-AI PowerInfer up to 8bd56d69906c9d2dba4d3bf6899763401e01a9a4. Affected is the function create_striped_mat_to_gpu of the file smallthinker/ggml/src/ggml-cuda/ggml-cuda.cu of the component FFN GPU-split Loader. The manipulation results in out-of-bounds read. The attack needs to be approached locally. The exploit is now public and may be used. This product utilizes a rolling release system for continuous delivery, and as such, version information for affected or updated releases is not disclosed. The pull request to fix this issue awaits acceptance. |
| FreeRDP 3.17.1 before 3.32.0 contains a heap buffer over-read vulnerability in DynvcTrackerHandleCreateBack of the freerdp-proxy DRDYNVC channel handler that allows malicious backend RDP servers to read heap memory out of bounds. Attackers can send a CREATE_REQUEST_PDU whose channel name lacks a NUL byte, causing an unbounded snprintf read that leaks memory into proxy logs or crashes the process. |
| FreeRDP from 2.0.0-beta1 before 3.28.0 contains an out-of-bounds read vulnerability in smartcard_LocateCardsByATRA_Call because the ATR pattern cbAtr byte count is not capped. Malicious RDP servers can send crafted ATR mask arrays to use query timing as an oracle, leaking heap memory bit-by-bit to defeat ASLR and aid RCE exploits. |
| NVIDIA DALI contains a vulnerability where an attacker could cause an uncontrolled out-of-bounds read. A successful exploit of this vulnerability mighty lead to information disclosure, data tampering, and denial of service. |

| A vulnerability has been identified in Capital Embedded AR Classic 431-422 (All versions), Capital Embedded AR Classic R20-11 (All versions < V2303), Desigo PXC00-E.D (All versions >= V2.3), Desigo PXC00-U (All versions >= V2.3), Desigo PXC001-E.D (All versions >= V2.3), Desigo PXC100-E.D (All versions >= V2.3), Desigo PXC12-E.D (All versions >= V2.3), Desigo PXC128-U (All versions >= V2.3), Desigo PXC200-E.D (All versions >= V2.3), Desigo PXC22-E.D (All versions >= V2.3), Desigo PXC22.1-E.D (All versions >= V2.3), Desigo PXC36.1-E.D (All versions >= V2.3), Desigo PXC50-E.D (All versions >= V2.3), Desigo PXC64-U (All versions >= V2.3), Desigo PXM20-E (All versions >= V2.3). The affected product does not properly validate input bounds before accessing packet data. This could allow an unauthenticated remote attacker to trigger memory reads outside the intended packet boundaries. |
| A flaw was found in GLib. An out-of-bounds read of only 2 bytes can occur in the g_date_time_get_ymd function in the glib/gdatetime.c file when an invalid GDateTime object produced by the g_date_time_add_full function is processed. This flaw can corrupt the date output and potentially cause logic errors that may lead to a denial of service. |
| Progress MarkLogic Server 12.x releases before 12.1.0 contain an out-of-bounds read vulnerability in certain query-processing functionality. A remote authenticated attacker could exploit this vulnerability to cause server instability or disclose limited information from process memory. |
| A vulnerability was determined in Tiiny-AI PowerInfer up to 8bd56d69906c9d2dba4d3bf6899763401e01a9a4. Impacted is the function gguf_init_from_file of the file ggml.c of the component GGUF Parser. This manipulation of the argument data_offset causes out-of-bounds read. The attack requires local access. The exploit has been publicly disclosed and may be utilized. This product uses a rolling release model to deliver continuous updates. As a result, specific version information for affected or updated releases is not available. The pull request to fix this issue awaits acceptance. |
| IBM Security Verify Access 10.0 through 10.0.9.2 and IBM Verify Identity Access 11.0 through 11.0.3 could allow a denial of service due to a heap-based out-of-bounds read. A remote attacker could send a specially crafted request that causes a limited out‑of‑bounds memory read. |
| A unauthenticated remote peer may lead rsyslogd to crash due to a flaw in the optional imptcp module. A crafted input sequence during oversize-frame recovery can cause an invalid internal message length and terminate rsyslogd. No confidentiality or integrity impact, privilege escalation, or code execution has been identified. imtcp and the default imptcp framing modes are not affected. |
