CVE-2025-6170 2 Redhat, Xmlsoft 18 Ai Inference Server, Cert Manager, Discovery and 15 more 2026-10-13 2.5 Low
A flaw was found in the interactive shell of the xmllint command-line tool, used for parsing XML files. When a user inputs an overly long command, the program does not check the input size properly, which can cause it to crash. This issue might allow attackers to run harmful code in rare configurations without modern protections.
CVE-2026-14164 3 Libarchive, Red Hat, Redhat 15 Libarchive, Enterprise Linux, Ai Inference Server and 12 more 2026-10-13 7.5 High
A double free issue has been identified in libarchive's RAR5 reader. During parsing of a specially crafted RAR5 archive, the filtered_buf pointer may remain stale after being freed during unpacking state reinitialization. Subsequent processing of another archive entry can trigger a second free of the same memory region, resulting in a double-free condition. Successful exploitation may cause applications using the vulnerable libarchive API to terminate unexpectedly, leading to a denial of service.
CVE-2026-58015 2 Gnome, Redhat 17 Glib, Ai Inference Server, Cert Manager and 14 more 2026-10-13 5.9 Medium
A flaw was found in GLib. The D-Bus client-side implementation of the DBUS_COOKIE_SHA1 SASL authentication mechanism does not validate the cookie_context parameter received from the server. A malicious D-Bus server can supply a cookie_context containing path traversal sequences, causing the client to read an arbitrary file and exfiltrate sensitive data by verifying guessed file contents against a generated hash.
CVE-2026-58014 2 Gnome, Redhat 17 Glib, Ai Inference Server, Cert Manager and 14 more 2026-10-13 7.3 High
A flaw was found in GLib. An off-by-one error can occur in the g_key_file_get_locale_string_list function in the gkeyfile.c file when loading a key file with an empty value. This flaw can cause an out-of-bounds access of 1 byte or a denial of service when the out-of-bounds access crosses a page boundary.
CVE-2026-58013 2 Gnome, Redhat 16 Glib, Ai Inference Server, Cert Manager and 13 more 2026-10-13 6.5 Medium
A flaw was found in GLib. A buffer over-read can occur in g_io_channel_read_line_backend() in the giochannel.c file when a custom line terminator with a length greater than one is set, causing memcmp to read past the GString buffer. This vulnerability can cause a minor information disclosure of 7 bytes or a denial of service when the buffer over-read crosses a page boundary.
CVE-2026-58012 2 Gnome, Redhat 16 Glib, Ai Inference Server, Cert Manager and 13 more 2026-10-13 6.5 Medium
A flaw was found in GLib. A buffer over-read can occur in the g_regex_replace function when used with the `G_REGEX_RAW` compile flag and case-change replacement escapes because the string_append function processes matched substrings using UTF-8 functions that assume valid UTF-8 input, even when the string is treated as raw bytes. This vulnerability can cause a minor information disclosure of 1-5 bytes and a denial of service when the buffer over-read crosses a page boundary.
CVE-2026-58011 2 Gnome, Redhat 16 Glib, Ai Inference Server, Cert Manager and 13 more 2026-10-13 6.5 Medium
A flaw was found in GLib. An out-of-bounds read of only 2 bytes can occur in the g_date_time_get_ymd function in the glib/gdatetime.c file when an invalid GDateTime object produced by the g_date_time_add_full function is processed. This flaw can corrupt the date output and potentially cause logic errors that may lead to a denial of service.
CVE-2026-58010 2 Gnome, Redhat 16 Glib, Ai Inference Server, Cert Manager and 13 more 2026-10-13 6.5 Medium
A flaw was found in GLib. An off-by-one error can occur in the gvs_tuple_is_normal function in the glib/gvariant-serialiser.c file when doing an alignment padding check because the bounds check uses > instead of >=, causing an out-of-bounds read of only 1 byte. This issue can cause a minor information disclosure of 1 byte and a denial of service when the out-of-bounds read crosses a page boundary.
CVE-2026-16118 1 Redhat 9 Ai Inference Server, Cert Manager, Cost Management On Premise and 6 more 2026-10-13 7.1 High
A flaw was found in xdgmime. A heap-based buffer overflow can be triggered in _xdg_mime_magic_parse_magic_line() in the xdgmimemagic.c file on little-endian systems when an attacker-controlled MIME magic file in a user-writable XDG data location (e.g., in the $XDG_DATA_HOME/mime/magic path) is parsed by an application performing MIME type detection (e.g., via g_content_type_guess()). When performing byte-swap, incorrect pointer arithmetic on the write side causes an out-of-bounds write of 2 bytes, resulting in an application crash or memory corruption.
CVE-2026-15588 1 Redhat 17 Ai Inference Server, Cert Manager, Discovery and 14 more 2026-10-13 5.3 Medium
A denial-of-service and resource exhaustion vulnerability exists within the `GDBus` component of GLib. The `gdbusauth` authentication mechanism fails to enforce proper length limitations on data lines read from a client. An unauthenticated local or remote attacker can exploit this lack of input validation by sending excessively long streams of data, causing the application to consume massive amounts of system memory and CPU, potentially leading to a crash or system hang.
CVE-2024-12085 8 Almalinux, Archlinux, Gentoo and 5 more 29 Almalinux, Arch Linux, Linux and 26 more 2026-10-13 7.5 High
A flaw was found in rsync which could be triggered when rsync compares file checksums. This flaw allows an attacker to manipulate the checksum length (s2length) to cause a comparison between a checksum and uninitialized memory and leak one byte of uninitialized stack data at a time.
CVE-2025-6021 2 Redhat, Xmlsoft 30 Discovery, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus and 27 more 2026-10-12 7.5 High
A flaw was found in libxml2's xmlBuildQName function, where integer overflows in buffer size calculations can lead to a stack-based buffer overflow. This issue can result in memory corruption or a denial of service when processing crafted input.
CVE-2026-78002 2 Redhat, Rsyslog 4 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus, Rhui and 1 more 2026-10-12 7.5 High
A flaw was found in rsyslog. An unauthenticated remote attacker can trigger a heap buffer overflow in the RainerScript `replace()` function by sending specially crafted syslog messages. This vulnerability arises from an incorrect buffer size calculation during string replacement, causing memory corruption. Successful exploitation can lead to a denial of service (DoS) for the affected system.
CVE-2026-19654 2 Redhat, Rsyslog 4 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus, Rhui and 1 more 2026-10-12 7.5 High
A unauthenticated remote peer may lead rsyslogd to crash due to a flaw in the optional imptcp module. A crafted input sequence during oversize-frame recovery can cause an invalid internal message length and terminate rsyslogd. No confidentiality or integrity impact, privilege escalation, or code execution has been identified. imtcp and the default imptcp framing modes are not affected.
CVE-2026-55655 3 Openbsd, Openssh, Redhat 11 Openssh, Openssh, Enterprise Linux and 8 more 2026-10-12 5 Medium
A flaw was found in OpenSSH. A local unprivileged attacker on a Linux client host can hijack client-side X11 forwarding connections. This is possible by pre-binding the preferred abstract X socket name when X11 forwarding is enabled and a local UNIX-domain X socket is used. A successful attack can compromise the confidentiality of forwarded X11 traffic, including sensitive window contents and input, and may allow some manipulation of the forwarded session.
CVE-2026-55653 3 Openbsd, Openssh, Redhat 11 Openssh, Openssh, Enterprise Linux and 8 more 2026-10-12 4.3 Medium
A flaw was found in OpenSSH. A malicious SSH server can exploit a double free vulnerability in the Diffie-Hellman Group Exchange (DH-GEX) client path. This occurs during FIPS (Federal Information Processing Standards) mode known-group validation when the client processes attacker-controlled DH-GEX group parameters. Successful exploitation leads to client-side process termination, resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS).
CVE-2026-11837 1 Redhat 6 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus, Openstack and 3 more 2026-10-12 7.3 High
A local privilege escalation vulnerability was found in the ansible.posix authorized_key module. The module's keyfile() function uses os.chown() instead of os.lchown() and opens files without O_NOFOLLOW when managing SSH authorized keys. An unprivileged local user can pre-stage symbolic links in their ~/.ssh directory to redirect file ownership changes to arbitrary system paths when an operator runs the authorized_key task as root, leading to local privilege escalation.
CVE-2026-42169 2 Gimp, Redhat 5 Gimp, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus and 2 more 2026-10-12 7.3 High
A heap-buffer-overflow vulnerability exists in the APNG (Animated PNG) file loader of GIMP. This flaw occurs when the `fcTL` width exceeds the `IHDR` width, leading to pixel data being written past the end of a heap allocation. Additionally, a heap-based buffer overflow exists in the DDS plug-in due to a BPP mismatch in the `load_layer()` function. Both vulnerabilities can be triggered by opening a specially crafted image file, potentially leading to code execution.
CVE-2011-3389 9 Canonical, Debian, Google and 6 more 21 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Chrome and 18 more 2026-10-09 N/A
The SSL protocol, as used in certain configurations in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Opera, and other products, encrypts data by using CBC mode with chained initialization vectors, which allows man-in-the-middle attackers to obtain plaintext HTTP headers via a blockwise chosen-boundary attack (BCBA) on an HTTPS session, in conjunction with JavaScript code that uses (1) the HTML5 WebSocket API, (2) the Java URLConnection API, or (3) the Silverlight WebClient API, aka a "BEAST" attack.
CVE-2026-48864 2 Opensuse, Redhat 23 Libsolv, Cert Manager, Discovery and 20 more 2026-10-08 7.8 High
A flaw was found in libsolv. This heap buffer overflow occurs during the decompression of attacker-controlled compressed data within `.solv` files due to insufficient input validation. An attacker can provide a specially crafted `.solv` file, which, when processed by a vulnerable application, can lead to out-of-bounds memory access. This could result in information disclosure, alteration of program execution, or a denial of service.
