CVSS v3.1 |
| The BackWPup WordPress plugin before 5.7.7 does not properly restrict the destination path of files extracted during a backup restore when its fallback archive library is used, allowing high-privileged users to write files outside the intended restore directory, potentially leading to remote code execution. |
| A path traversal vulnerability exists in Bower decompress-zip through version 0.3.3. The vulnerability located in `lib/decompress-zip.js` improperly validates archive entry paths during ZIP extraction. A crafted ZIP archive containing entries that resolve to prefix-sibling directories can cause files to be written outside the intended extraction directory. Successful exploitation may allow arbitrary file overwrite, application compromise, or remote code execution depending on the target environment and writable sibling paths. |
| Feehi CMS 2.1.1 is vulnerable to Directory Traversal. An authenticated backend user with article edit permission can delete arbitrary files writable by the PHP process. Article image metadata is used to construct a filesystem path and is passed to `unlink()` without path traversal or directory validation. |
| An authenticated remote attacker with specific permissions can read or write files on the platform filesystem beyond the intended scope through specially crafted requests and/or crafted file uploads to the Network Provisioning Image Repository. |
| An authenticated remote attacker with specific permissions can read or write files on the platform filesystem beyond the intended scope through specially crafted requests and/or crafted file uploads to the Software Management Studio Software Repository. |
| IBM Langflow OSS 1.0.0 through 1.12.2 could allow a remote authenticated attacker to obtain sensitive information due to improper limitation of a pathname to a restricted directory. |
| Gradle is a build tool with a focus on build automation and support for multi-language development. When Gradle writes a dependency into its dependency cache, it uses the dependency's coordinates to compute a file location. With specially crafted dependency coordinates, Gradle can be made to write files into an unintended location. The file may be written outside the dependency cache or over another file in the dependency cache. This vulnerability could be used to poison the dependency cache or overwrite important files elsewhere on the filesystem where the Gradle process has write permissions. Exploiting this vulnerability requires an attacker to have control over a dependency repository used by the Gradle build or have the ability to modify the build's configuration. It is unlikely that this would go unnoticed. A fix has been released in Gradle 7.6.2 and 8.2 to protect against this vulnerability. Gradle will refuse to cache dependencies that have path traversal elements in their dependency coordinates. It is recommended that users upgrade to a patched version. If you are unable to upgrade to Gradle 7.6.2 or 8.2, `dependency verification` will make this vulnerability more difficult to exploit. |
| An issue has been fixed in Qt versions 5.14.0 where QPluginLoader attempts to load plugins relative to the working directory, allowing attackers to execute arbitrary code via crafted files. |
| HashiCorp go-getter versions before 1.8.10 and go-getter/v2 versions before 2.2.5 are vulnerable to path traversal during S3 and GCS directory downloads, which may allow files to be written outside the requested destination. This vulnerability (CVE-2026-19585) is fixed in go-getter 1.8.10 and go-getter/v2 2.2.5. |
| There's a vulnerability in podman where an attacker may use the kube play command to overwrite host files when the kube file container a Secrete or a ConfigMap volume mount and such volume contains a symbolic link to a host file path. In a successful attack, the attacker can only control the target file to be overwritten but not the content to be written into the file.
Binary-Affected: podman
Upstream-version-introduced: v4.0.0
Upstream-version-fixed: v5.6.1 |
| pgjdbc, the PostgreSQL JDBC Driver, versions 42.7.4 through 42.7.13 pads a value that is shorter than its declared length with bytes left in its send buffer instead of zeros, and the server stores those bytes as part of the value. The bytes are messages the driver sent earlier on the same connection: SQL text and parameter values of recent statements, which on a pooled connection can come from other requests. Each padded value can carry up to 8192 bytes of this traffic, or 16320 bytes on a connection with GSS encryption. The padding happens when an application declares a length larger than the data it supplies, through PreparedStatement.setObject with a ByteStreamWriter, CopyIn.writeToCopy, PGCopyOutputStream.write, LargeObject.write, or Blob.setBytes. The driver accepts these calls without an error. An attacker who can make the application store such a value and read it back can collect earlier traffic. Applications whose declared lengths always match their data are not affected. Versions 42.7.3 and earlier pad with zeros. |
| Ollama is vulnerable to path traversal in the `/api/pull` endpoint due to insufficient validation of layer digests by the `digestToPath` function. An unauthenticated remote attacker can specify a path traversal sequence as a layer digest, causing a malicious binary to be written outside the model store.
Critically if the server process has write access to `/usr/lib/ollama` (the default in most Ollama Docker images), an attacker can write the malicious file to that directory. On the next server restart, the file is loaded and executed, resulting in remote code execution as root.
This issue was fixed in version 0.35.0. |
| A path traversal vulnerability in the Fireware OS WebUI management agent allows an authenticated administrator to read or list arbitrary files on the local filesystem by sending a specially crafted management request. |
| IBM Langflow OSS 1.0.0 through 1.12.2 could allow a remote authenticated attacker to obtain sensitive information due to improper limitation of a pathname to a restricted directory. |
| A flaw was found in flatpak-builder. This vulnerability allows an attacker to cause information disclosure by convincing a user or continuous integration (CI) system to process a crafted build manifest. By specifying local file Uniform Resource Identifiers (URIs) within source download definitions, the builder bypasses directory confinement checks. As a result, sensitive host files accessible to the build process can be read and incorporated into the build artifacts. |
| Vault and Vault Enterprise did not consistently verify that stored plugin catalog entries reference binaries within the configured plugin directory. When Vault uses Shamir seals and has an external plugin directory configured, a privileged operator able to restore an Integrated Storage (Raft) snapshot may be able to execute arbitrary code on the Vault host. This vulnerability (CVE-2026-105816) is fixed in Vault Community Edition 2.1.2, and Vault Enterprise 2.1.2, 1.21.12, 1.20.17, and 1.19.23. |
| Directory traversal with remote code execution can occur in /upload in ONLYOFFICE Document Server before 5.6.3, when JWT is used, via a /.. sequence in an image upload parameter. |
| Vault's ACL policy cache allowed namespace traversal when policy names contained path traversal constructs. This may allow a token assigned specially crafted policy names to use the capabilities of policies defined in other namespaces, including the root namespace. This vulnerability (CVE-2026-105820) is fixed in Vault Enterprise 2.1.2, 1.21.12, 1.20.17, and 1.19.23. Vault Community Edition does not support namespaces, and is not affected. |
| An authenticated path traversal vulnerability exists in the ArubaOS command line interface. Successful exploitation of the vulnerability results in the ability to delete arbitrary files on the underlying operating system.

| Joomla Extension - balbooa.com - Path Traversal in image preview Gridbox < 2.20.4.0 - Gridbox contains the same prefix-only containment logic in its site UploaderHelper . The showImage action resolves a request-controlled path, calls that helper, and then returns the image. If image decoding is unavailable or fails, the action streams the file directly. An existing image in a sibling directory such as images-backup can therefore satisfy the current containment test even though it is outside the configured images root. The route restricts the file extension to Gridbox image types, which materially limits the read primitive. The default media root is images ; the effective site setting was not independently verified. No prefix-matching sibling directory was found alongside the site’s images directory. The finding is rated Low rather than presented as arbitrary file disclosure. |
