| CVE-2021-20305 | 5 Debian, Fedoraproject, Netapp and 2 more | 10 Debian Linux, Fedora, Active Iq Unified Manager and 7 more | 2026-10-14 | 8.1 High |
| A flaw was found in Nettle in versions before 3.7.2, where several Nettle signature verification functions (GOST DSA, EDDSA & ECDSA) result in the Elliptic Curve Cryptography point (ECC) multiply function being called with out-of-range scalers, possibly resulting in incorrect results. This flaw allows an attacker to force an invalid signature, causing an assertion failure or possible validation. The highest threat to this vulnerability is to confidentiality, integrity, as well as system availability. | ||||
| CVE-2026-86476 | 1 Redhat | 1 Enterprise Linux | 2026-10-14 | 8.4 High |
| A flaw was found in gst-plugins-base. A heap buffer overflow can be triggered when processing video buffers whose attached GstVideoMeta metadata declares plane strides and offsets that exceed the actual backing memory allocation. The metadata is not range-checked during deserialization, and the video frame mapping code does not verify that the declared plane geometry fits within the buffer before allowing consumers to read or write video data. A local attacker who controls the sending side of a GStreamer inter-process IPC pipeline can deliver a crafted buffer carrying fabricated strides, causing the receiving process to read or write beyond heap boundaries. Successful exploitation can cause a denial of service or potentially allow code execution within the affected process. | ||||
| CVE-2026-100231 | 1 Redhat | 1 Enterprise Linux | 2026-10-14 | 6.1 Medium |
| A flaw was found in the GStreamer multimedia framework's ASF muxer plugin (asfmux). When writing string metadata tags containing Unicode characters outside the Basic Multilingual Plane (such as emoji) to an ASF container, the plugin incorrectly calculates the buffer size needed for the UTF-16LE representation. The size calculation assumes each Unicode code point requires 2 bytes, but non-BMP characters require 4 bytes (surrogate pairs). This leads to a heap out-of-bounds write when the actual UTF-16LE conversion is written into the undersized buffer. An attacker could exploit this by providing media with crafted metadata tags to an application that transcodes or remuxes to ASF format while preserving metadata, potentially causing a denial of service or limited memory corruption. | ||||
| CVE-2021-3826 | 3 Fedoraproject, Gnu, Redhat | 4 Fedora, Gcc, Enterprise Linux and 1 more | 2026-10-14 | 6.5 Medium |
| Heap/stack buffer overflow in the dlang_lname function in d-demangle.c in libiberty allows attackers to potentially cause a denial of service (segmentation fault and crash) via a crafted mangled symbol. | ||||
| CVE-2021-3520 | 5 Lz4 Project, Netapp, Oracle and 2 more | 12 Lz4, Active Iq Unified Manager, Cloud Backup and 9 more | 2026-10-14 | 9.8 Critical |
| There's a flaw in lz4. An attacker who submits a crafted file to an application linked with lz4 may be able to trigger an integer overflow, leading to calling of memmove() on a negative size argument, causing an out-of-bounds write and/or a crash. The greatest impact of this flaw is to availability, with some potential impact to confidentiality and integrity as well. | ||||
| CVE-2021-3517 | 6 Debian, Fedoraproject, Netapp and 3 more | 30 Debian Linux, Fedora, Active Iq Unified Manager and 27 more | 2026-10-14 | 8.6 High |
| There is a flaw in the xml entity encoding functionality of libxml2 in versions before 2.9.11. An attacker who is able to supply a crafted file to be processed by an application linked with the affected functionality of libxml2 could trigger an out-of-bounds read. The most likely impact of this flaw is to application availability, with some potential impact to confidentiality and integrity if an attacker is able to use memory information to further exploit the application. | ||||
| CVE-2020-29573 | 3 Gnu, Netapp, Redhat | 9 Glibc, Cloud Backup, Solidfire Baseboard Management Controller and 6 more | 2026-10-14 | 7.5 High |
| sysdeps/i386/ldbl2mpn.c in the GNU C Library (aka glibc or libc6) before 2.23 on x86 targets has a stack-based buffer overflow if the input to any of the printf family of functions is an 80-bit long double with a non-canonical bit pattern, as seen when passing a \x00\x04\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x04 value to sprintf. NOTE: the issue does not affect glibc by default in 2016 or later (i.e., 2.23 or later) because of commits made in 2015 for inlining of C99 math functions through use of GCC built-ins. In other words, the reference to 2.23 is intentional despite the mention of "Fixed for glibc 2.33" in the 26649 reference. | ||||
| CVE-2020-29363 | 4 Debian, Oracle, P11-kit Project and 1 more | 4 Debian Linux, Communications Cloud Native Core Policy, P11-kit and 1 more | 2026-10-14 | 7.5 High |
| An issue was discovered in p11-kit 0.23.6 through 0.23.21. A heap-based buffer overflow has been discovered in the RPC protocol used by p11-kit server/remote commands and the client library. When the remote entity supplies a serialized byte array in a CK_ATTRIBUTE, the receiving entity may not allocate sufficient length for the buffer to store the deserialized value. | ||||
| CVE-2020-24659 | 5 Canonical, Fedoraproject, Gnu and 2 more | 5 Ubuntu Linux, Fedora, Gnutls and 2 more | 2026-10-14 | 7.5 High |
| An issue was discovered in GnuTLS before 3.6.15. A server can trigger a NULL pointer dereference in a TLS 1.3 client if a no_renegotiation alert is sent with unexpected timing, and then an invalid second handshake occurs. The crash happens in the application's error handling path, where the gnutls_deinit function is called after detecting a handshake failure. | ||||
| CVE-2020-22218 | 2 Libssh2, Redhat | 2 Libssh2, Enterprise Linux | 2026-10-14 | 7.5 High |
| An issue was discovered in function _libssh2_packet_add in libssh2 1.10.0 allows attackers to access out of bounds memory. | ||||
| CVE-2020-21047 | 1 Elfutils Project | 1 Elfutils | 2026-10-14 | 5.5 Medium |
| The libcpu component which is used by libasm of elfutils version 0.177 (git 47780c9e), suffers from denial-of-service vulnerability caused by application crashes due to out-of-bounds write (CWE-787), off-by-one error (CWE-193) and reachable assertion (CWE-617); to exploit the vulnerability, the attackers need to craft certain ELF files which bypass the missing bound checks. | ||||
