CVSS v3.1 |
| The function PEM_read_bio_ex() reads a PEM file from a BIO and parses and
decodes the "name" (e.g. "CERTIFICATE"), any header data and the payload data.
If the function succeeds then the "name_out", "header" and "data" arguments are
populated with pointers to buffers containing the relevant decoded data. The
caller is responsible for freeing those buffers. It is possible to construct a
PEM file that results in 0 bytes of payload data. In this case PEM_read_bio_ex()
will return a failure code but will populate the header argument with a pointer
to a buffer that has already been freed. If the caller also frees this buffer
then a double free will occur. This will most likely lead to a crash. This
could be exploited by an attacker who has the ability to supply malicious PEM
files for parsing to achieve a denial of service attack.
The functions PEM_read_bio() and PEM_read() are simple wrappers around
PEM_read_bio_ex() and therefore these functions are also directly affected.
These functions are also called indirectly by a number of other OpenSSL
functions including PEM_X509_INFO_read_bio_ex() and
SSL_CTX_use_serverinfo_file() which are also vulnerable. Some OpenSSL internal
uses of these functions are not vulnerable because the caller does not free the
header argument if PEM_read_bio_ex() returns a failure code. These locations
include the PEM_read_bio_TYPE() functions as well as the decoders introduced in
OpenSSL 3.0.
The OpenSSL asn1parse command line application is also impacted by this issue. |
| A timing based side channel exists in the OpenSSL RSA Decryption implementation
which could be sufficient to recover a plaintext across a network in a
Bleichenbacher style attack. To achieve a successful decryption an attacker
would have to be able to send a very large number of trial messages for
decryption. The vulnerability affects all RSA padding modes: PKCS#1 v1.5,
RSA-OEAP and RSASVE.
For example, in a TLS connection, RSA is commonly used by a client to send an
encrypted pre-master secret to the server. An attacker that had observed a
genuine connection between a client and a server could use this flaw to send
trial messages to the server and record the time taken to process them. After a
sufficiently large number of messages the attacker could recover the pre-master
secret used for the original connection and thus be able to decrypt the
application data sent over that connection. |
| In binder_inc_ref_for_node of binder.c, there is a possible way to corrupt memory due to a use after free. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.Product: AndroidVersions: Android kernelAndroid ID: A-239630375References: Upstream kernel |
| Omnispace Agora Project before 26.10.0 contains a broken access control vulnerability in the MobileFileDownload route that allows unauthenticated attackers to download arbitrary files by computing an md5(filename) token instead of passing a proper authorization check. Attackers can guess or determine file names to generate the corresponding md5 token and retrieve protected files without authorization, leading to unauthorized information disclosure. |
| Dell Terraform Provider for OME, versions 1.0.0 through 1.2.3, contains an Insertion of Sensitive Information into Externally-Accessible File or Directory vulnerability in the API client error handling component. An unauthenticated attacker with remote access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to information exposure. |
| Incorrect authentication vulnerability in the TSplus Remote Access multi-factor authentication (MFA) mechanism. A remote attacker authenticated with valid first-factor credentials could bypass the second-factor verification because the authentication flow does not correctly apply the MFA validation result, allowing the attacker to complete the login without a valid second-factor token and gain access to protected applications and resources. |
| JIT miscompilation in the JavaScript Engine: JIT component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 158, Firefox ESR 115.43, Firefox ESR 153.5, Thunderbird 158, and Thunderbird 153.5. |
| Use-after-free in the DOM: Core & HTML component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 158, Firefox ESR 115.43, Firefox ESR 153.5, Thunderbird 158, and Thunderbird 153.5. |
| Use-after-free in the Audio/Video component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 158, Firefox ESR 115.43, Firefox ESR 153.5, Thunderbird 158, and Thunderbird 153.5. |
| Use-after-free in the DOM: Animation component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 158, Firefox ESR 115.43, Firefox ESR 153.5, Thunderbird 158, and Thunderbird 153.5. |
| Out-of-bounds read in Windows DHCP Server allows an authorized attacker to deny service locally. |
| Insufficient Session Expiration vulnerability in Progress MOVEit Transfer.
This issue affects MOVEit Transfer: before 2025.1.6 and from 2026.0.0 before 2026.0.4. |
| mise manages dev tools like node, python, cmake, and terraform. Prior to 2026.7.14, in the default non-safe mode, mise loads .mise.toml [settings] from an untrusted local project before trust approval and strip_local_only_settings removes only fields marked global_only. The unix_default_file_shell_args, unix_default_inline_shell_args, windows_default_file_shell_args, and windows_default_inline_shell_args settings were not marked global_only, allowing a repository to replace the default interpreter arguments used by trusted tasks that have no explicit shell, postinstall directives, template exec operations, or hooks that fall back to the default shell. When mise appends the trusted command after the attacker-controlled interpreter arguments, the attacker-selected command can execute first with the developer account's privileges even though the local configuration was never trusted. The separate path-sanitization hardening note in the advisory is outside this vulnerability. This issue is fixed in version 2026.7.14. |
| Incorrect Authorization vulnerability in Progress MOVEit Transfer (Client Certificates module).
This issue affects MOVEit Transfer: before 2025.1.6 and from 2026.0.0 before 2026.0.4. |
| Dell Terraform Provider for Redfish, versions prior to 1.6.2, contains an Improper Certificate Validation vulnerability in the HTTP transport component. An unauthenticated attacker with remote access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to information exposure and unauthorized access. This is a Critical severity vulnerability as it allows an unauthenticated attacker to intercept all Redfish BMC traffic including credentials by performing a man-in-the-middle attack, since TLS certificate verification is unconditionally disabled in the base HTTP transport. Dell recommends customers to upgrade at the earliest opportunity. |
| Improper neutralization of special elements used in an LDAP query ('LDAP injection') vulnerability in Progress MOVEit Transfer (LDAP module).
This issue affects MOVEit Transfer: before 2025.1.6 and from 2026.0.0 before 2026.0.4. |
| MOOS-IvP iSay through 24.8.1 contains a remote code execution vulnerability in the SAY_MOOS variable handler that passes unsanitized text to a shell command. Attackers can publish SAY_MOOS messages containing backticks or command substitution syntax to execute arbitrary commands as the iSay process user. |
| MOOS essential-moos pAntler through 10.0.1 contains a remote code execution vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to execute arbitrary programs by publishing a crafted MISSION_FILE message to the MOOSDB. Attackers can publish a mission file containing malicious Run entries that pAntler parses and executes via execvp() without authentication validation. |
| Authentication bypass by capture-replay vulnerability in Progress MOVEit Transfer (OIDC module).
This issue affects MOVEit Transfer: before 2025.1.6 and from 2026.0.0 before 2026.0.4. |
| MOOS core-moos through 10.4.0 contains an authentication bypass vulnerability in the optional MOOSDB HTTP server that allows unauthenticated clients to write variables. Attackers can send HTTP requests with variable names and values to the MOOSDB HTTP server port to modify MOOS variables including actuator and override commands without authentication. |
