| CVE-2022-2503 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 4 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Eus and 1 more | 2026-10-14 | 6.9 Medium |
| Dm-verity is used for extending root-of-trust to root filesystems. LoadPin builds on this property to restrict module/firmware loads to just the trusted root filesystem. Device-mapper table reloads currently allow users with root privileges to switch out the target with an equivalent dm-linear target and bypass verification till reboot. This allows root to bypass LoadPin and can be used to load untrusted and unverified kernel modules and firmware, which implies arbitrary kernel execution and persistence for peripherals that do not verify firmware updates. We recommend upgrading past commit 4caae58406f8ceb741603eee460d79bacca9b1b5 | ||||
| CVE-2022-2327 | 2 Linux, Netapp | 11 Linux Kernel, H300s, H300s Firmware and 8 more | 2026-10-14 | 7.5 High |
| io_uring use work_flags to determine which identity need to grab from the calling process to make sure it is consistent with the calling process when executing IORING_OP. Some operations are missing some types, which can lead to incorrect reference counts which can then lead to a double free. We recommend upgrading the kernel past commit df3f3bb5059d20ef094d6b2f0256c4bf4127a859 | ||||
| CVE-2022-2274 | 2 Netapp, Openssl | 12 H300s, H300s Firmware, H410c and 9 more | 2026-10-14 | 9.8 Critical |
| The OpenSSL 3.0.4 release introduced a serious bug in the RSA implementation for X86_64 CPUs supporting the AVX512IFMA instructions. This issue makes the RSA implementation with 2048 bit private keys incorrect on such machines and memory corruption will happen during the computation. As a consequence of the memory corruption an attacker may be able to trigger a remote code execution on the machine performing the computation. SSL/TLS servers or other servers using 2048 bit RSA private keys running on machines supporting AVX512IFMA instructions of the X86_64 architecture are affected by this issue. | ||||
| CVE-2022-2153 | 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Linux and 1 more | 4 Debian Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel and 1 more | 2026-10-14 | 5.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in the Linux kernel’s KVM when attempting to set a SynIC IRQ. This issue makes it possible for a misbehaving VMM to write to SYNIC/STIMER MSRs, causing a NULL pointer dereference. This flaw allows an unprivileged local attacker on the host to issue specific ioctl calls, causing a kernel oops condition that results in a denial of service. | ||||
| CVE-2022-2097 | 6 Debian, Fedoraproject, Netapp and 3 more | 24 Debian Linux, Fedora, Active Iq Unified Manager and 21 more | 2026-10-14 | 5.3 Medium |
| AES OCB mode for 32-bit x86 platforms using the AES-NI assembly optimised implementation will not encrypt the entirety of the data under some circumstances. This could reveal sixteen bytes of data that was preexisting in the memory that wasn't written. In the special case of "in place" encryption, sixteen bytes of the plaintext would be revealed. Since OpenSSL does not support OCB based cipher suites for TLS and DTLS, they are both unaffected. Fixed in OpenSSL 3.0.5 (Affected 3.0.0-3.0.4). Fixed in OpenSSL 1.1.1q (Affected 1.1.1-1.1.1p). | ||||
| CVE-2022-2078 | 3 Debian, Linux, Redhat | 6 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux and 3 more | 2026-10-14 | 5.5 Medium |
| A vulnerability was found in the Linux kernel's nft_set_desc_concat_parse() function .This flaw allows an attacker to trigger a buffer overflow via nft_set_desc_concat_parse() , causing a denial of service and possibly to run code. | ||||
| CVE-2022-2068 | 7 Broadcom, Debian, Fedoraproject and 4 more | 49 Sannav, Debian Linux, Fedora and 46 more | 2026-10-14 | 9.8 Critical |
| In addition to the c_rehash shell command injection identified in CVE-2022-1292, further circumstances where the c_rehash script does not properly sanitise shell metacharacters to prevent command injection were found by code review. When the CVE-2022-1292 was fixed it was not discovered that there are other places in the script where the file names of certificates being hashed were possibly passed to a command executed through the shell. This script is distributed by some operating systems in a manner where it is automatically executed. On such operating systems, an attacker could execute arbitrary commands with the privileges of the script. Use of the c_rehash script is considered obsolete and should be replaced by the OpenSSL rehash command line tool. Fixed in OpenSSL 3.0.4 (Affected 3.0.0,3.0.1,3.0.2,3.0.3). Fixed in OpenSSL 1.1.1p (Affected 1.1.1-1.1.1o). Fixed in OpenSSL 1.0.2zf (Affected 1.0.2-1.0.2ze). | ||||
| CVE-2022-1882 | 3 Linux, Netapp, Redhat | 18 Linux Kernel, H300e, H300e Firmware and 15 more | 2026-10-14 | 7.8 High |
| A use-after-free flaw was found in the Linux kernel’s pipes functionality in how a user performs manipulations with the pipe post_one_notification() after free_pipe_info() that is already called. This flaw allows a local user to crash or potentially escalate their privileges on the system. | ||||
| CVE-2022-1852 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 4 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Eus and 1 more | 2026-10-14 | 5.5 Medium |
| A NULL pointer dereference flaw was found in the Linux kernel’s KVM module, which can lead to a denial of service in the x86_emulate_insn in arch/x86/kvm/emulate.c. This flaw occurs while executing an illegal instruction in guest in the Intel CPU. | ||||
| CVE-2022-1679 | 4 Debian, Linux, Netapp and 1 more | 21 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, H300e and 18 more | 2026-10-14 | 7.8 High |
| A use-after-free flaw was found in the Linux kernel’s Atheros wireless adapter driver in the way a user forces the ath9k_htc_wait_for_target function to fail with some input messages. This flaw allows a local user to crash or potentially escalate their privileges on the system. | ||||
| CVE-2022-1473 | 3 Netapp, Openssl, Redhat | 44 A250, A250 Firmware, A700s and 41 more | 2026-10-14 | 7.5 High |
| The OPENSSL_LH_flush() function, which empties a hash table, contains a bug that breaks reuse of the memory occuppied by the removed hash table entries. This function is used when decoding certificates or keys. If a long lived process periodically decodes certificates or keys its memory usage will expand without bounds and the process might be terminated by the operating system causing a denial of service. Also traversing the empty hash table entries will take increasingly more time. Typically such long lived processes might be TLS clients or TLS servers configured to accept client certificate authentication. The function was added in the OpenSSL 3.0 version thus older releases are not affected by the issue. Fixed in OpenSSL 3.0.3 (Affected 3.0.0,3.0.1,3.0.2). | ||||
| CVE-2022-1462 | 3 Debian, Linux, Redhat | 5 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux and 2 more | 2026-10-14 | 6.3 Medium |
| An out-of-bounds read flaw was found in the Linux kernel’s TeleTYpe subsystem. The issue occurs in how a user triggers a race condition using ioctls TIOCSPTLCK and TIOCGPTPEER and TIOCSTI and TCXONC with leakage of memory in the flush_to_ldisc function. This flaw allows a local user to crash the system or read unauthorized random data from memory. | ||||
| CVE-2022-1434 | 2 Netapp, Openssl | 43 A250, A250 Firmware, A700s and 40 more | 2026-10-14 | 5.9 Medium |
| The OpenSSL 3.0 implementation of the RC4-MD5 ciphersuite incorrectly uses the AAD data as the MAC key. This makes the MAC key trivially predictable. An attacker could exploit this issue by performing a man-in-the-middle attack to modify data being sent from one endpoint to an OpenSSL 3.0 recipient such that the modified data would still pass the MAC integrity check. Note that data sent from an OpenSSL 3.0 endpoint to a non-OpenSSL 3.0 endpoint will always be rejected by the recipient and the connection will fail at that point. Many application protocols require data to be sent from the client to the server first. Therefore, in such a case, only an OpenSSL 3.0 server would be impacted when talking to a non-OpenSSL 3.0 client. If both endpoints are OpenSSL 3.0 then the attacker could modify data being sent in both directions. In this case both clients and servers could be affected, regardless of the application protocol. Note that in the absence of an attacker this bug means that an OpenSSL 3.0 endpoint communicating with a non-OpenSSL 3.0 endpoint will fail to complete the handshake when using this ciphersuite. The confidentiality of data is not impacted by this issue, i.e. an attacker cannot decrypt data that has been encrypted using this ciphersuite - they can only modify it. In order for this attack to work both endpoints must legitimately negotiate the RC4-MD5 ciphersuite. This ciphersuite is not compiled by default in OpenSSL 3.0, and is not available within the default provider or the default ciphersuite list. This ciphersuite will never be used if TLSv1.3 has been negotiated. In order for an OpenSSL 3.0 endpoint to use this ciphersuite the following must have occurred: 1) OpenSSL must have been compiled with the (non-default) compile time option enable-weak-ssl-ciphers 2) OpenSSL must have had the legacy provider explicitly loaded (either through application code or via configuration) 3) The ciphersuite must have been explicitly added to the ciphersuite list 4) The libssl security level must have been set to 0 (default is 1) 5) A version of SSL/TLS below TLSv1.3 must have been negotiated 6) Both endpoints must negotiate the RC4-MD5 ciphersuite in preference to any others that both endpoints have in common Fixed in OpenSSL 3.0.3 (Affected 3.0.0,3.0.1,3.0.2). | ||||
| CVE-2022-1343 | 3 Netapp, Openssl, Redhat | 44 A250, A250 Firmware, A700s and 41 more | 2026-10-14 | 5.3 Medium |
| The function `OCSP_basic_verify` verifies the signer certificate on an OCSP response. In the case where the (non-default) flag OCSP_NOCHECKS is used then the response will be positive (meaning a successful verification) even in the case where the response signing certificate fails to verify. It is anticipated that most users of `OCSP_basic_verify` will not use the OCSP_NOCHECKS flag. In this case the `OCSP_basic_verify` function will return a negative value (indicating a fatal error) in the case of a certificate verification failure. The normal expected return value in this case would be 0. This issue also impacts the command line OpenSSL "ocsp" application. When verifying an ocsp response with the "-no_cert_checks" option the command line application will report that the verification is successful even though it has in fact failed. In this case the incorrect successful response will also be accompanied by error messages showing the failure and contradicting the apparently successful result. Fixed in OpenSSL 3.0.3 (Affected 3.0.0,3.0.1,3.0.2). | ||||
| CVE-2022-1304 | 3 E2fsprogs Project, Fedoraproject, Redhat | 3 E2fsprogs, Fedora, Enterprise Linux | 2026-10-14 | 7.8 High |
| An out-of-bounds read/write vulnerability was found in e2fsprogs 1.46.5. This issue leads to a segmentation fault and possibly arbitrary code execution via a specially crafted filesystem. | ||||

| CVE-2022-1271 | 4 Debian, Gnu, Redhat and 1 more | 8 Debian Linux, Gzip, Enterprise Linux and 5 more | 2026-10-14 | 8.8 High |
| An arbitrary file write vulnerability was found in GNU gzip's zgrep utility. When zgrep is applied on the attacker's chosen file name (for example, a crafted file name), this can overwrite an attacker's content to an arbitrary attacker-selected file. This flaw occurs due to insufficient validation when processing filenames with two or more newlines where selected content and the target file names are embedded in crafted multi-line file names. This flaw allows a remote, low privileged attacker to force zgrep to write arbitrary files on the system. | ||||
| CVE-2022-1184 | 4 Canonical, Debian, Linux and 1 more | 6 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Linux Kernel and 3 more | 2026-10-14 | 5.5 Medium |
| A use-after-free flaw was found in fs/ext4/namei.c:dx_insert_block() in the Linux kernel’s filesystem sub-component. This flaw allows a local attacker with a user privilege to cause a denial of service. | ||||
| CVE-2022-1015 | 2 Fedoraproject, Linux | 2 Fedora, Linux Kernel | 2026-10-14 | 6.6 Medium |
| A flaw was found in the Linux kernel in linux/net/netfilter/nf_tables_api.c of the netfilter subsystem. This flaw allows a local user to cause an out-of-bounds write issue. | ||||
| CVE-2022-1012 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 5 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Rhel E4s and 2 more | 2026-10-14 | 8.2 High |
| A memory leak problem was found in the TCP source port generation algorithm in net/ipv4/tcp.c due to the small table perturb size. This flaw may allow an attacker to information leak and may cause a denial of service problem. | ||||
