| Improper synchronization in the OpenVPN ovpn-dco-win for Windows versions 0.6.5 through 1.3.5 and 2.4.0 through 2.8.7 allows local attackers to trigger a deadlock via a crafted write to the ovpn-dco device, causing the host to become unresponsive. |
| A use-after-free exists in the Windows WFP packet-capture driver shipped with Akamai Guardicore Platform Agent (GPA) before 7.4. When an IPv6 proxy/redirect rule is active, a local attacker with Administrator privileges can send a single crafted outbound IPv6 packet via a raw IPV6_HDRINCL socket to trigger this at DISPATCH_LEVEL, resulting in an immediate system crash. |
| A use-after-free vulnerability in the Windows WFP callout driver of Akamai Guardicore Platform Agent (GPA) allows a local low-privileged user to cause a denial of service (system crash / BSOD) via an outbound ICMPv6 packet containing an IPv6 Hop-by-Hop extension header. When the IPv6 ICMP redirect policy is active, the packet is copied into a buffer that is freed but subsequently passed to a downstream filter. The size of the freed allocation is attacker-controlled (via packet length), enabling kernel pool grooming. Exploitation requires that the non-default IPv6 ICMP capture/redirect policy is enabled for the endpoint. |
| L-SMASH through 2.14.5 contains a double free vulnerability in hevc_setup_first_summary() and h264_setup_first_summary() in importer/nalu_imp.c that frees borrowed codec-specific objects on error paths. Attackers can supply a crafted Annex-B elementary stream lacking a parseable SPS to lsmash_read_file() or the boxdumper, remuxer, or muxer tools, causing use-after-free, heap corruption, and crashes. |
| Xerial snappy-java from 1.1.7.4 before 1.1.10.10 contains a double release vulnerability in SnappyFramedInputStream that returns pooled buffers twice when replacement allocation fails. Attackers can supply framed data with a large declared chunk length to trigger OutOfMemoryError, causing shared backing arrays that expose or overwrite other streams' decompressed data. |
| net/netfilter/nf_tables_api.c in the Linux kernel through 5.18.1 allows a local user (able to create user/net namespaces) to escalate privileges to root because an incorrect NFT_STATEFUL_EXPR check leads to a use-after-free. |
| Use after free in Windows DHCP Client allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code over an adjacent network. |
| A defect in the Qt for MCUs core string handling causes heap memory corruption. When an application passes text into Qt Quick Ultralite using the public Qul::String interface type, and that text is held in a std::string, the conversion to the internal string type copies the pointer without taking ownership of it. Two objects then release the same memory, producing a double free, an invalid free, or a use-after-free. |
| Use after free in Microsoft Office Excel allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code over a network. |
| A Use After Free vulnerability in the rpd PIM Join/Prune processing of Juniper Networks Junos OS and Junos OS Evolved platforms allows an unauthenticated adjacent attacker to crash the routing daemon via specific PIM messages when sparse mode PIM is configured. |
| A Use After Free vulnerability in the packet forwarding engine (pfe) of Juniper Networks Junos OS on SRX Series allows an unauthenticated, network-based attacker to cause a Denial-of-Service (DoS).
When web filtering for TCP traffic is configured, a high volume of DNS requests increases the likelihood of a flowd crash and restart, which leads to a complete service outage until the service has automatically recovered. This is a race condition outside the attacker's direct control.
This issue affects Junos OS on SRX Series:
* All versions before 23.2R2-S5;
* from 23.4 before 23.4R2-S6;
* from 24.2 before 24.2R2-S3;
* from 24.4 before 24.4R2-S1;
* from 25.2 before 25.2R1-S1, 25.2R2. |
| An Improper Resource Locking vulnerability in the clock synchronization daemon (clksyncd) of Juniper Networks Junos OS on MX Series allows a unauthenticated, logically adjacent attacker to cause a Denial-of-Service (DoS).
If a SyncE or PTP upstream node sends a malformed message to an MX device equipped with SCBE3, a false 19.44MHz alarm is generated on the master RE. This leads to persistent RE switchovers and a clksyncd process crash. This issue is outside the attacker's direct control as it's a race condition.
This issue affects Junos OS on MX Series:
* All versions before 23.2R2-S7.7;
* 23.4 versions before 23.4R2-S8.13;
* 24.2 versions before 24.2R2-S5.5;
* 24.4 versions before 24.4R2-S4;
* 25.2 versions before 25.2R2-S1;
* 25.4 versions before 25.4R1-S2. |
