CVSS v3.1 |
| A user with query access to an Azure Monitor data source can use its resource proxy to call Azure Resource Manager APIs beyond those Grafana needs, with the data source's Azure identity (unintended proxy). The impact is bounded by the Azure role granted to that identity. |
| NVIDIA Warp contains a vulnerability where an attacker could cause a heap-based buffer overflow. A successful exploit of this vulnerability might lead to denial of service. |
| Sandbox escape due to incorrect boundary conditions in the Networking component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 158 and Firefox ESR 153.5. |
| Incorrect boundary conditions in the JavaScript Engine: JIT component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 158 and Firefox ESR 153.5. |
| MediaAgent contained a heap-based buffer overflow issue affecting service availability. Software customers upgrade to resolved maintenance release. Update Commvault installation of MediaAgents and HyperScale. |
| Wazuh from 3.12.0 before 4.14.8 contains a heap buffer overflow in fim_generate_alert() where full_log is sized from input but written bounded by OS_MAXSTR. An enrolled agent can send a crafted FIM syscheck event to corrupt manager heap memory and deterministically crash wazuh-analysisd, causing a fleet-wide detection outage. |
| When Brocade Fabric OS versions before 10.0.1 processes trunk configuration operations, the application parses user-supplied list strings into dynamically allocated heap arrays without enforcing boundary checks on the maximum allowable number of elements. An authenticated administrator can exploit this vulnerability via crafted REST API requests containing an excessive number of list delimiters, causing heap corruption that can result in service crash or arbitrary code execution. |
| A flaw was found in xdgmime. A heap-based buffer overflow can be triggered in _xdg_mime_magic_parse_magic_line() in the xdgmimemagic.c file on little-endian systems when an attacker-controlled MIME magic file in a user-writable XDG data location (e.g., in the $XDG_DATA_HOME/mime/magic path) is parsed by an application performing MIME type detection (e.g., via g_content_type_guess()). When performing byte-swap, incorrect pointer arithmetic on the write side causes an out-of-bounds write of 2 bytes, resulting in an application crash or memory corruption. |
| OpenS100 through commit daa35b contains an integer overflow vulnerability in the S-102 Bathymetric Surface parser that allows remote attackers to cause a heap-based buffer overflow by opening a crafted S-102 HDF5 file with malicious grid dimension metadata. Attackers can exploit the unvalidated multiplication of numPointsLatitudinal and numPointsLongitudinal values in the S102_VG_BathymetryCoverage::Read() function to trigger a 32-bit integer wraparound, resulting in undersized heap buffer allocation and subsequent out-of-bounds writes that lead to application crash or arbitrary code execution. |
| GitLab has remediated an issue in GitLab CE/EE affecting all versions from 18.11 before 19.2.8, 19.3 before 19.3.5, and 19.4 before 19.4.2 that, under certain conditions, could have allowed an authenticated user with a project-scoped fine-grained Personal Access Token to permanently delete or modify group-level labels, due to incorrect authorization logic on label ownership scope validation. |
| GNU Aspell 0.60.8.2 (first vulnerable version is not known) contains a heap-based buffer overflow write (CWE-122) in its read-only dictionary loader. String::reserve() in common/string.hpp computes its capacity check with a signed int ((int)s + 1), so a requested size of 0x7FFFFFFF wraps negative and the backing buffer is never grown. ReadOnlyDict::load() in modules/speller/default/readonly_ws.cpp passes the unvalidated 32-bit size fields from a .rws dictionary header into this path, so a crafted .rws file with a valid endian marker (12345678) and an oversized length field (e.g. lang_name_size = 0x7FFFFFFF) causes attacker-controlled data to be written out of bounds past an undersized heap allocation. An attacker who induces a victim to load a malicious dictionary — for example via aspell dump master <file> — can corrupt heap memory, resulting in denial of service and potentially code execution. Fixed in b830b6e and will be fixed in release 0.60.8.3. |
| FreeRDP 3.0.0 before 3.32.0 contains an integer truncation vulnerability in license_check_stream_length that allows a malicious RDP server to trigger a heap buffer overflow on 32-bit clients. Attackers can send a crafted SERVER_LICENSE_REQUEST with a large scopeCount that bypasses length checks, causing out-of-bounds writes leading to denial of service or remote code execution. |
| FreeRDP 3.10.0 through 3.32.2 contains a heap buffer overflow in the WinPR png_write_data callback that writes past the buffer after a realloc failure. A malicious RDP clipboard peer can supply a large CF_DIB image that triggers out-of-bounds memcpy during PNG conversion, causing a client crash. |
| A flaw was found in GIMP's Paint Shop Pro (PSP) file format parser. This heap buffer overflow vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause arbitrary code execution or a denial of service (DoS) by tricking a user into opening a specially crafted PSP image file. The vulnerability occurs because the software incorrectly calculates buffer sizes when processing low bit-depth images, leading to an overwrite of adjacent memory. |
| Heap-based buffer overflow vulnerability in Samsung Opensource rlottie allows Buffer Overflow via Environment Variables.
This issue affects rlottie: e57b094f03c39a751a1fded6f7d6c13f1ed95ec9. |
| Heap buffer overflow in the HLL sketch deserialization of Apache DataSketches C++ (repo: datasketches-cpp).
When deserializing a sketch in LIST mode, from either a byte buffer or a stream, the coupon count was read from the input and used as the number of entries to copy into a fixed buffer of 8 entries, without checking it against the buffer's capacity. A crafted sketch could cause a write of up to 988 bytes past the end of this internal heap buffer. This can corrupt heap memory, causing a crash and potentially enabling further exploitation.
This issue affects Apache DataSketches C++: from 1.0.0-incubating before 5.3.0. Only applications that deserialize HLL sketches from untrusted sources are affected.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 5.3.0, which fixes this issue. |
| A vulnerability in the NX-API feature of Cisco NX-OS Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to execute arbitrary code with root privileges or cause a denial of service (DoS) condition on an affected device.
The vulnerability is due to insufficient input validation of data that is sent to the NX-API. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted HTTP request to the NX-API of an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to execute arbitrary code with root privileges and could cause process crashes, which could result in a reload of the device and a DoS condition. |
| A heap-based buffer overflow flaw was found in Cyrus SASL. The add_to_challenge() function in the DIGEST-MD5 plugin computes the size of the buffer needed for a challenge/response field before DIGEST-MD5 quoting is applied, but does not recompute that size when quoting (escaping special characters) makes the value longer. The under-sized buffer is then passed to strcat(), causing a heap-based out-of-bounds write whose size depends on attacker-controlled input. A malicious or on-path DIGEST-MD5 (or HTTP Digest) server can trigger this flaw in a connecting client by supplying a crafted challenge field, such as realm or nonce, most likely resulting in a crash of the client application. |
| The Affinity by Canva application for macOS before 3.3.1 (October 2026 release) did not safely calculate the size of an image buffer when generating QuickLook thumbnails and previews of Affinity document files, leading to an integer overflow and a heap-based buffer overflow. A threat actor could craft an Affinity document that, when displayed or previewed by a user in Finder, could corrupt heap memory and cause the thumbnail or preview extension to crash. |
| In NTFS-3G before 2026.7.7, a heap buffer overflow exists in ntfs_ib_copy_tail(), in libntfs-3g/index.c, that allows an attacker to corrupt heap memory in the SUID-root ntfs-3g binary by crafting a malicious NTFS image. The overflow is triggered by extending a directory, e.g., by creating a file. |
